Zionna's POV
D-Day
We awoke early this morning making sure every thing was in it's place for the breach of the complex. We had studied the place for two weeks and hatched a plan for the safe removal of Dalia and the total destruction of the complex.
My father would have his lower men invade the complex on foot and have my unit: Zane, Ben, Hooligan, and I drop in from a chopper along with another unit of his men.
This was my second big case that I have done for my father, the first was very successful... I pray that this will be as my first. We had already been warned about what's at stake and my unit was given detailed maps of the complex. My fathers computer tech was able to retrieve certain wireless cameras located throughout the complex which gave us a good edge over our opponent; along with the advantage of surprise I knew taking the complex by storm would be a simple task.
My unit and I were on our way to an open field that the helicopter was stationed. We are to board the aircraft and wait for the call to drop into the complex which should be about fifteen minutes after the foot soldiers have made their run. We are not to engage in any combat unless necessary, we are to find Dalia and promptly make our way out. Once out we are to give the signal which the remaining foot soldiers will have five minutes to leave the complex before we burn it down.
We will bring Dalia back to the helicopters original station and she will be united back with her father and step mother.
I thought the plan over as I saw the whirly bird come into clear view.
"Nervous?" I questioned the guys, Ben and Zane sat in front of me while Hooligan sat beside me.
"Never." Hooligan said with a smirk.
"So I guess this means we can start calling each other by our real names." Ben said with a smile, "Because I hated calling you Isiah." Ben looked at Zane who chuckled.
"Yeah well Hooligan wasn't even good at it. All he remembered was Zionna's fake name." Zane responded with a laugh.
"That sure as hells not true." Hooligan defended himself.
"It is bro, you introduced Ben just two weeks ago as Ben to Lisa." Zane said shaking his head
"Who?" Hooligan asked.
"Lisa, you know the latina girl that just sat on the couch with you the whole time she was at the residency. The one that ended up slapping you because you kicked her out after Zionna and Ben came back from the airport." Zane said trying to spark Hooligans memory.
"Oh that Lisa, yeah she was alright."
"Point is you were shit at the secret identification thing." Ben joined in the conversation again with a smile and shaking his head.
"Well that identification thing was stupid anyway." Hooligan said as the car parked right in front of the helicopter.
"It's larger than I imagined." I said stepping out of the vehicle and sizing up the aircraft for what it truly was, a beauty.
"Yeah.. Well I guess all we do is wait now." Hooligan said getting out the car as well.
We had learned to climb down a helicopter by rope during our two weeks of observation and the team and I were more than ready for the mission but I still felt butterfly's in my stomach.
Our pilot walked up to us and shook our hand one by one and introduced himself as Tony.
Tony was young and tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. There was nothing special about him but he did have an interesting scar that cut from the left side of his forehead near his hairline all the way down to the middle of his left cheek. It was very hard not to notice but I refused to stare out at it blatantly.
