Sandy's POV

Break was finally here and I cruised to my car. My Dad had moved out of the house, for reasons I can only assume dealt with Grace, and Mom had given me his car full time. It was bittersweet. I hadn't seen my father in the past two months and apparently he doesn't want to see me nor my mother and for that I didn't really care what happened to him.

Grace met some guy in 'school' and has moved in with him. Mom swears up and down that Grace is pregnant but Grace has had so many pregnancy scares it's almost second nature to me.

I was giving Don a ride home from school then headed to go hang out with Pete and the gang, maybe even invite Pit along. I didn't really know where Pit and I stood at the moment, we had shared a kiss or two every now and then but nothing serious and when ever I tried and defined our relationship he'd put it off with a vague answer like "let's just live right now" or "can we talk about this later?", I was getting sick of it truly but I didn't want to pressure him. I had just gotten out of a relationship and I didn't want him to feel as if I need a boyfriend to function or that he was my rebound.

"What you thinking about?" Don asked sliding into the passengers seat.

"Nothing important."

"Aren't we always? Hey you want to go and get some hot coco, since it's mad cold out here. My treat." Don asked rubbing his hands together to emphasize how cold it really is.

"I'd love to, especially since it's your treat, but I have to meet the gang right after school."

"Oh, damn, well maybe next time?" Don said shrugging and looking out the window as I backed out and headed into the New York traffic.

"Do you want to hang out with us?" I asked, I felt a little guilty just dropping him off without inviting him. It wasn't like Don was a burden so hanging out wouldn't be that bad.

"I don't know, I'm not really cool with your friends like that. You sure they wouldn't mind?"

"I sure, their not all bitchy when someone new comes to play."

"Alright, then I guess I'll tag along."

I drove to my house and dropped my school work off and freshened up a little. Then headed to Pete's apartment, Pete's Dad wasn't home like usual so we had the place all to ourselves.

"So what do you guys do?"

"What do you mean?" I was about ten to fifteen minutes away from Pete's place and Don and I spoke lightly about anything and everything.

"You know, like what do you guys do for fun?"

"Whatever we want."

"Drugs?"

"Sometimes."

"Alcohol?"

"Most times."

"Sex?"

"Ummm... No... Well not all of us together but as couples I guess... I mean no, we don't have with one another while we are over someones house hanging out."

"Just wondering."

"Why?"

"Because I didn't want to go in there asking where the bong was and everyone looking at me like i'm an animal."

"Well your related to douche Ronnie so you could never look like an animal compared to him."

"I'm going to take that as a compliment and run with it." Don said as soon as I entered a parking garage.
