It had been a few weeks since the people of Woodbury joined Ava and the rest of the group at the prison. Things were going smoothly, for the most part. A few others had come in that Daryl or Rick had brought in (a system Ava had thought was flawed, because they'd had their fair share of bad apples come in,) and a council had been formed so the pressure wasn't on Rick all the time.

Rick had begun setting up a farm, which he ended up asking Ava to help him create fences for, in case they found some farm animals while out scouting. Ava had been wrapping up her new project for the day when Glenn walked over.

"Hey, what's up?" She asks, wiping her hands on a rag she carried around since working in the dirty atmosphere of the soon to be farm.

"There's gonna be a council meeting in an hour. You gonna be there?" He asks the girl, leaning against a wood stable she had put up.

A few folks on the council had asked Ava to sit in on the meetings. Though she was just a teen, they valued her input and resolutions when she opted to give them. She wasn't necessarily on the council, but if they couldn't decide on something, she would act as their deciding factor.

   "Sure. What's it about?"

"Just a regular meeting. Updates, plans, et cetera." Glenn shrugs, crossing his arms.

Ava nods, "okay. I'll be there, just gotta clean up first," she smiles. The duo walk up to the gates of the prison where Beth lets them in.

Ava heads straight in and straight to the showering area they had set up at the back of the cell block. Some groups in the prison worked out a way to have showers in both cell blocks, along with building up the breach at the back of the prison, which Ava helped with.

She made sure no one else was in before stripping her clothes and washing the dirt and grime from her body before quickly redressing, re-wrapping her hair in a towel and stepping out of the shower room.

She bumps into someone and apologizes before looking up to see Roman holding some clothes and a towel. "You look like a wet rat," the boy snorts, looking over the girl's hair as it was knocked out of the towel from their collision.

She grumbles, "shut up. Go shower, you smell." She huffs before walking past him and up to her cell where she vigorously shook the towel on her hair before laying it on the top bunk above her bed.

Ava then began making her way through the tombs and into the library they had deemed their spot for the meetings. She walked in to see the members already sitting at a table.

She quietly sits down between Carol and Glenn, across from Hershel, who had been crowned head of the council.

The group began talking about various things, including coming up with a system to ask the newcomers before bringing them to the prison. When this was brought up, all eyes went to Ava.

"Uh.." she looks around at them, now suddenly feeling nervous. "We could... ask them questions?" She says obviously, making Glenn chuckle lightly and rub the bridge of his nose at the girl's obvious answer.

"But what would these questions be?" Hershel asks, looking at the girl.

Ava thinks for a minute before speaking, "something to get a good idea of what they've done in order to survive. Like... how many walkers have you killed?" She tilts her head.

"How many people have you killed." Carol adds.

Ava nods, "should probably ask them why they've done it, too. Some people kill other people out of necessity, not because they want to." She shrugs, thinking about how she would have killed if she had to when the governor attacked.
