The group walked the railroads, they weren't very sure where they were headed, but it was a start. That was, until, Roman pointed out a sign on one of the train carts abandoned on the track. 'Terminus. Those who arrive, survive' with a map below it."What do you think?" Michonne looks to Rick.
"Let's go... let's go." And so they did, but Ava was uneasy.
You should never advertise where you are, not in this world. Ava figured they'd all be dead by now, whether it be at the hands of people or walkers. Or, they're the sons of bitches they need to stay away from. Either way, not a good idea.
But the other four decided to take their chances, which meant she would follow along anyways. But that's not to say she wasn't on guard.

Ava was well aware of the side glances she was receiving from the others as they all walked. She was also well aware of the headache behind her eyes from the constant furrow in her brows as she kept her eyes trained on her shoes, and every time she caught herself doing it and tried to stop, it was as if her body went against her brain and the furrow was back within minutes.
She wanted to take the ibuprofen stashed in her bag, but she didn't have anything to down it with and she also hadn't eaten. Something else that began to nag at her.
Ava couldn't stop thinking, though. Thinking about her parents, her brother. Thinking about Maggie and Glenn, whether or not they were together, or even alive. She couldn't shake the thoughts and they weighed heavy on her.
She felt a nudge to her ribs and looked up, seeing Rick peering down at her. He looked at her with concern costing his features, some sort of telepathic way of asking if she's okay. She shrugged. What good is lying going to do if you know they won't believe it?
"Need a break?" Rick asked her, quietly so the others didn't overhear from their spots in front of the two.
Ava shook her head no, stopping would only give her more space for the thoughts. At least walking kept her body busy enough to blank out her thoughts on occasion, though her feet ached. She, honestly, just wanted to be left alone.
"Want a piggyback ride?" Rick smiled, hoping to get the same out of the girl.
Ava snort-laughed at this, "yeah, right." She rolled her eyes with a smile.
Rick was happy with this answer, he would have been happy with any answer. Ava hadn't spoken much at all today, only to Michonne and Carl during their looting, which Rick wasn't aware of. So he was under the assumption she hadn't spoken at all today.
Ava's demeanor was short lived, she was met with silence once again and the thoughts came flowing back. Mom, dad, Cyrus. Maggie, Glenn. Mom, dad, Cyrus. Maggie, Glenn. On repeat.
"Anyone know how to sing?" Roman huffed.
Ava smiled, she could. She usually only hummed to herself, but she used to sing with her brother in the car. But she wasn't about to sing for the group, too embarrassing.
Roman looked her smiling, "you? You can sing. I know you can, I've heard you humming." He pestered with a smile.
"I'm not singing for an audience, Ro'. I'd die of embarrassment." She rolled her eyes.
"Oh, come onnnn! Sing for us!" Carl nudged her, smiling goofily.
Ava looked around to the rest of the group, looking at her expectantly. "All right. But just this time, and don't ever tell anyone I can do this. Ever. I'll kill you." She said, mock threateningly.
