Today is my first wedding anniversary. It's been a year since I got married, and I'm looking forward to reuniting with my mom and brother after a year. I hope he has forgiven me for my past mistakes.

"Looking glamorous and happy, my beauty queen," my cutie husband said to me while hugging me from behind and gazing at me through the mirror.

"Isn't it obvious, my love?" He hugged me tightly and tried to kiss my neck, but I didn't want any hickeys, so I stopped him. He made a puppy face, but I turned around and gave him a peck on his lips. "Are you thinking about your brother?" he noticed my 'a little sad face.'

I remember the moment when my brother disowned me for marrying Shivansh.

Flashback

I intertwined my fingers with Shivansh as we entered my house. My mom noticed us, taking in the garlands around our necks, the vermillion on my head, and the mangalsutra around my neck. She yelled at me,

"Mini, what the hell is this."

Her voice startled me because my family never raised their voice at me. I heard a voice coming from the kitchen. Rudra bhaiya was there. He froze when he saw us, and I felt scared thinking about what he would do next.

Bhaiya approached us with fire in his eyes. Shivansh wrapped his arms around my shoulder to support me.

"So, you married him," he said with calmness but tears in his eyes.

"B- Bhaiya I love him" I stuttered. He scoffed and ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

"Do you love us "

"Yes bhaiya"

"Let me rephrase that question: Do you want us or him?" he said, pointing his finger toward him.

"Bhaiya, I want all of you," I cried out, understanding his intention, tears shedding down my cheeks.

"Choose one Mini" He shouted. I felt scared of him for the first time. My eyes, cheeks, and nose turned red.

"us or him, mini" I pleaded with him not to go through with it. Mom also insisted that they accept our marriage.

He repeated his word and then he shouted again. I flinched, looked down in anxiety, and blurted out, "Him!!"

I gazed up and met his eyes. His expression shifted, and he spoke words that broke my heart.

With an emotionless face, he came toward us and said, "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Shekhawat."
