Graciela's POV

It's time for the first Hogsmeade visit of the year. Not a lot has happened since the quidditch tryouts. Harry has disappeared twice at night. I have no idea what he is doing and he won't tell  me. Yet he seems to be fine telling Hermione and Ron. I can't believe him, we're family. So why won't he tell me what he is doing?

There's been a couple more Slughorn parties and they aren't horrible. But still I'd rather not go. Harry has managed to avoid every single one so far. Speaking of Professor Slughorn, apparently Harry is now top of the class in Potions. At least on the practical side. Hermione is still top in theory. I don't get how he got so good, unless it has something to do with his new well burrowed Potions book. I'll ask him about it later.

Anyway, Micheal thinks I am over reacting about Harry. But I know I am not, Harry and I have never kept secrets from each other. And for him to keeping something from me, it has to be a big deal. Anyway, Micheal invited me on a date with him in Hogsmeade. Saying I need a distraction. Hagrid is minding the dogs for us.

"So what are we doing today?" I ask Micheal curious.

"It's a surprise" he tells me. I shiver and he wraps his cloak around me. I smile and he wraps an arm around me as we head for Zonko's first.

"Ah Graciela my dear" Professor Slughorn says when he spots us. As he leaves Honeydukes. "Just saw your cousin, he can't make the next party on Monday night" he explains looking disappointed. "Can I count on you two?" he asks us.

"Of course Professor" Micheal assures him.

"How come Harry can't make it professor?" I ask him curious.

"He has a meeting with Dumbledore" he states. I frown in confusion, can this have something to do with what Dumbledore talked to Harry about on night he dropped us off at the burrow? "Anyway, I must be off I have papers to grade" he tells us and leaves.

"Why would Harry be seeing Dumbledore?" Micheal asks me as we enter Zonko's.

"No idea, it might have something to do with why he talked to Harry that night at the Burrow. But Harry won't tell me anything" I grumble.

"Hey, I'm sure if it was important, he'd tell you" he assures me.

"Not if Dumbledore has told him not too" I tell him. "I hate this, we've never had secrets" I add.

"Hey, today is supposed to be a happy day" he reminds me. As he hugs me. "Look at me" he says and I look up into his eyes. "I love you" he tells me and I blush.

"I love you" I tell him and we kiss. It felt better then any other kiss. "How about we forget Hogsmeade?" I suggest.

"And go somewhere more private?" he asks.

"You read my mind" I tell him and peck him on the lips giggling. I have no idea what's come over us. But I just want to kiss him and be alone with him. With no distractions. We start to head back towards the castle.

"Where do you want to go?" Micheal asks me.

"I think you know" I tell him with a smile.

"Room of requirement" we say together and laugh. We snuggle into each other more as I hear two girls arguing behind us. I can't hear what about though. Micheal and I are in our own little bubble, where nothing else exists. But our bubble is pop by a horrible scream. We wipe around drawing our wands to see Katie in the ground with her friend Leanne beside her. Harry and the other two behind them.

"I told her not the touch it" Leanne states. Suddenly Katie is lifted into the air by an invisible force. Her mouth open in a silent scream, horror in her eyes. She then drops back down on the snow covered ground. We all gather around her.

"Don't go any closer, get back all of you" a voice says. We turn to see Hagrid and he walks over to Katie. Wasn't he minding the dogs? He picks Katie up bridal style. Harry looks at the package on the ground and I see a silver opal necklace. "Do not touch that, except the wrappings" Hagrid tells him. Harry nods and rewraps the necklace, not touching it and we all go back up to the castle together.

Katie is dropped at the hospital wing. While the rest of us all report to McGonagall's office. Where we tell her our version of events. Katie's friend then left as Snape came in and began to exam the necklace.  "Do you have anything else to add Miss Dursley, Mr Gale?" she asks me.

"Not really, we were in front of them and only saw what happened after Katie touched the necklace" Micheal states.

"I heard Katie and her friend arguing about something, but didn't know what. But now we do thinks to Leanne" I state. "Will Katie be ok?" I ask her concerned.

"Madame Pomfrey is tending to her" she states. "You both are dismissed" she tells us. We nod our heads and I hug Harry.

"See you at dinner" he states.

"Becarful" I tell him and he nods his head. I leave with Micheal. "Want to study?" I ask him.

"We do have that exam for Snape to do" he states. We summon our book bags and head to the library. We sit at our usual spot and are joined by Luna. We all study together until dinner. Then head for the great hall, where we learn that Katie had been taken to Saint Mungo's.
