Third Person's POV:

Her bare feet pounded against the hard pavement, sending sharp jolts of pain through her legs with each step. Despite the ache, she pushed herself to keep running, clutching her kitty heels in one hand while the other swaying desperately for balance.

Fear etched lines across her face.

Her eyes were wide with terror as she glanced back.

Behind her three Dobermans chased her. Their barks echoed off the whole university mingling with her frantic gasps for air. She knew she couldn't outrun them forever but at that moment all she could do is run.

A moment of distraction was all it took. Her gaze flickered backward, her heart skipping a beat as the ground beneath her seemed to shift. Her foot caught on an uneven patch of concrete, and in an instant, she was falling.

The impact was brutal; her hands and ankle scraped against the rough surface sending stabs of fiery pain shooting through her limbs.

As she lay sprawled on the ground, breaths coming in ragged bursts, the dogs skidded to a halt just inches away. Their growls reverberated through the air.

Her mind raced, thoughts colliding in a not-so-pleasant consequence. She shook her head slowly, as if silently pleading the animals to spare her.

But she knew it was futile. These dogs weren't acting on their own accord; they were following orders of their owner.

Their owner: Jungkook.

A man whose disdain for her had festered since childhood, poisoning any chance of empathy or mercy.

But feelings were mutual.

She despised him for his cruelty and the relentless torment he had inflicted upon her. And he, in turn, reveled in her suffering, relishing every opportunity to assert his dominance and hatred over her.

When one of the dogs raised its two front feet, jaws gaping wide poised to strike the poor woman. Time seemed to slow as her heart raced, pounding against her chest with a primal rhythm of terror. The sound of her own panting filled her ears.

Then, like a thunderclap a voice she knew all too well ring in her ears. "BAM, STOP!"

Her eyes flew open, wide with after shock and fear. The dog freeze in his track and obediently stood down but continued to growl menacingly.

In a distance the man with that command stood, the man she both loathed and feared. His face, etched with a smirk that exuded triumph and malice, and was framed by dark, unruly hair. Those eyes, piercing and cold, bore into her. Again.

He looks at her like that all the time-Loath. He loathes her.

She felt a surge of conflicting emotions - anger, fear, and a deep-seated hatred.
