Third Person's POV:

It had been a whole month since Isabella had switched universities. A whole month of avoiding Jeon Jungkook. A whole month of peace or so it seemed.

Isabella didn't protest when her mother decided to change her university. In fact, she welcomed it with open arms knowing deep down that the last thing she wanted was to cross paths with him again.

Her mother had been terrified upon waking up that morning. Despite not knowing the full details, she wasn’t willing to risk Isabella’s safety. The new university was a logical solution. Far from Jungkook.

Isabella was totally fine with it, even relieved. After all, why would she protest? This was exactly what she wanted: to never face him again. She wasn’t scared of Jungkook, not by a long shot. Fear had never been an emotion she'd associated with him but what she did feel was far worse—shame and embarrassment.

Every time she allowed herself to remember that day, her stomach twisted in knots. The vivid memory played on repeat taunting her in the quiet hours of the night when she was alone with her thoughts. She could still feel his fingers working her body with ease. She remembered how he had taunted her, his smug smirk seared into her mind as if it had been burned into her memory.

It wasn’t just the physical part that haunted her. Though that alone was mortifying. No, it was how she had responded. How her body had betrayed her. She had moaned. She had come apart under his touch. Despite her best efforts to fight it, her body had reacted in a way that made her skin crawl with self-loathing. The worst part was deep down she couldn't deny it: she had enjoyed it. There was no excuse she could offer herself to lessen the guilt.

That’s what kept her awake at night. And now, whenever she thought about it, her cheeks flamed with anger. Mostly at herself. She cursed herself over and over, replaying each humiliating second, wishing she could erase it all.

But now at least, it was over. It had been a whole month of convincing herself that she would never have to face Jeon Jungkook again. It was a comforting thought. She had settled into her new university, had made a fresh start and began to believe she could finally put that chapter behind her.

At least, that’s what she thought until today.

Her mother had sat her down at the kitchen table with a troubled expression. Isabella should have sensed something was wrong but nothing could have prepared her for the bombshell her mother dropped.

“You’re going back to the university of the Jeons.”

Isabella froze, staring at her mother in disbelief, her mind going completely blank. For a few moments, she couldn’t process what had just been said. Going back to that university meant facing Jungkook. It meant seeing him again. And worst of all, if Jungkook’s temper flared he would come for her again. She knew him too well. He would come back to torture her, to take out his anger on her in the most cruel ways.
