"So, just to make sure that we are on the same page, you're a sentient alien robot from the planet Cybertron. Your planet has been consumed by a civil war that has lasted for centuries. With war comes injuries, hence your current condition. The enemy leader, who is pretty much the harbinger of death, is missing, which, in my personal opinion, can't be a good thing. And hey, you're stuck here on Earth. Yeah, you're a little dinged up here and there, but no biggie; you're tough. Right?"

Optimus nodded, and Alexandra continued,

"Good. Where was I? Oh yes, both the Autobot and Decepticon leaders are missing, so naturally, both sides are going to come looking for their leaders. All we can do is sit tight and hope the Autobots find you first since if the Decepticons did, that would mean the death of you and probably the end of humanity."

She paused for breath.

"So, did I miss anything?"

"No, but you seem to have very little faith in my Autobots. They will come,"

Optimus assured,

"It might just take them awhile,"

Alexandra glanced at him,

"What makes you say that?"

"I've recently had a change in command for my second in command. My usual officer, Prowl, has taken a leave of absence for his cyber ninja training, so Ironhide, my bodyguard, has taken up the position. He is a really tough bot who knows how to make quick battle decisions without hesitation. He is also one of the most experienced mechs in my army, so he seemed like a good choice for a temporary second in command."

"So what seems to be the problem? It sounds to me like you left your Autobots in good hands."

Alexandra found it interesting how Optimus always said 'my Autobots'; he was very possessive of them, which reminded her of her older sister.

"I'm just worried that I left him too much to do. He hadn't been happy about being my second in command, so I can only wonder how he feels about being first right now. On top of all that, he recently has been very distracted about something he wouldn't tell me..."

Seeing Optimus beat himself up did not sit well with Alexandra. She rolled her eyes and swatted her hand in the air,

"Stop being a worrywart. I barely met you, and I already know that you're a great guy who has probably done everything in his power to prepare his Autobots. They're gonna be okay, so for once, how about you stop worrying about others and worry about yourself? Plus! I can not tell you how many times my older sister refused to take any breaks because she was worried. Hell, one time, her old boyfriend literally dragged her home for a break after she broke her arm."

Her words hit Optimus like a meteor. He couldn't even remember the last time he did something for himself. His every action was always towards his Autobots or the war. Granted, he was only fulfilling his role as Prime, which was to solely be alive for his people and serve them, but being alive and living were two totally different things. He momentarily tried envisioning what her older sister would look like, wondering if they were truly similar,

"Thank you, Alexandra."

Unaware of the impact she just made, Alexandra simply shrugged,

"No problem, big guy."

She smiled at him, but her attention turned elsewhere when she suddenly shivered. Her loose hair was blowing in sync with the wind as she looked up into the sky to see dark clouds. It was going to rain. Feeling a drop hit her forehead, Alexandra shook her head and stood up. She was lost in the woods with a storm on its way. She needed to find shelter, and she wasn't the only one. Optimus noticed the change in weather too. Looking away from Alexandra, he studied his surroundings. The darkening sky and howling wind made him feel uneasy. He looked back at Alexandra,
