Lily woke early Sunday morning, picking up her school bag and dropping her charm books into it, she made her way down to the great hall for an early breakfast before heading to the library. When she arrived in the great hall, all of the tables were deserted of people. However, that didn't mean the tables themselves weren't covered with plates upon plates of steaming food, awaiting the arrival of hundreds of hungry stomachs.
Lily ate quickly, as to avoid the rush, and made her way to the library. Finding her favourite spot at the very back where she could see beautiful views of the castle grounds, the Quidditch pitch, and the black lake, without the rowdiness of fellow students. She laid out her books, smothering the desk completely with paper as she begun her revision.
She worked way into the afternoon. Eventually, she took a break and looked up toward the black lake, as her eyes adjusted to the light, she felt a sharp pain shoot through her head. Lily took this as a sign to take a proper break from revision, setting down her quill on the desk next to her, she closed her eyes for a minute, taking in the silence that surrounded her. It was so calm here. She basked in its peacefulness for a while, her headache easing slightly.
