"James?, can you leave please, I'm trying to get ready" Lily was stood, staring at James's reflection in the mirror of the bathroom, as she fiddled with her earrings.Suddenly, he spun her round so she was facing him, confusion evident in her eyes. "You said you'd never made out with anyone in the bathroom before?" He raised his eyebrows, moving closer and closer to her, his eyes ablaze and more intense than she'd ever seen them. He picked her up effortlessly and placed her on the sink, resting his hand underneath her jawline. "Well we're about to change that" Without a seconds pause, James closed the gap between them. It started off light but they were both urgent, the kiss deepening, becoming more passionate as it continued, both of them hungry to continue, unable to catch their breath but unwilling to stop.
James pulled away, letting them both catch their breath, but he didn't stop. His lips started trailing down her neck, Lily closed her eyes in the bliss of it all, unable to resist him. She became impatient from the teasing, pulling his head upwards so their lips connected for a second time, more insistent than the last, she'd waited too long to kiss him properly.
"I've been waiting months to be able to kiss you" Lily breathed between kisses. James smirked, leaving a trail of kisses along her jawline.
"I've been waiting to kiss you for 3 years" James smiled, "I've wanted to rip your clothes off for 2" he continued, tracing her jaw with kisses. "And" his lips moved towards her ear. "I've been in love with you for 1" he whispered enticingly into her ear, nibbling on it as he went.
"What?" Lily stopped, staring at him. Her hand resting gently on his chest so there was a gap between them. "You're in LOVE with me?"
James slowly moved in for a third round, holding her tightly to his chest this time as they continued, she moaned slightly into the kiss. James gripped her tighter, smirking as they carried on.

James squeezed his pillow tight to his chest, but it wasn't as fluffy as he remembered it to be, and something was tickling his arm. Reluctantly, he slowly opened his eyes, to see it wasn't his pillow he'd squeezed, but Lily. His eyes grew with alarm momentarily, but she seemed to be sound asleep. James took this time to reflect on the evening before, he so wanted to just lay here, cuddling up to Lily until she woke and began her usual yelling match with him, but his craving for nicotine was high this morning. He realized, as he blinked in the sunlight flooding the bedroom, he hadn't had one since yesterday afternoon.
He moved slowly, removing his arms from around her waist, still blinking rapidly as his eyes fully adjusted to the stream of light. He felt Lily fight to clutch onto the warmth his arms had provided her, and swiftly tucked the duvet around her so she wouldn't wake. His head was swimming from the dream, running through his head like a movie, he couldn't seem to shake it.
James walked over to his wardrobe, replaying the dream over and over in his head as he picked out a hoodie. One part in particular haunted him 'I'm not in love with Lily Evans' he said quietly to himself out loud as he shoved his cigarettes, lighter and letter from his father into his pockets forcefully. He glanced over at her as he slipped on his shoes, shaking his head, as if it would flick the thought out of his head completely. And with one last glance in her direction, he quietly made his way out of the bedroom and downstairs into the kitchen.
"Morning, master James" Bonny greeted him appreciatively. "I'm afraid you caught me too early, I shall start on your breakfast straight away"
"No, no Bonny, you're fine, I just wanted a walk in the garden" Bonny nodded, her ears flapping. James continued on his way out into the garden, coming across the blanket he'd laid out for the pair yesterday. Everything was just how it had been left before Emmeline had made an appearance. James sighed laying down on the blanket and pulling his hood up, watching the sky absent-mindedly. His thoughts were plagued by the dream, questioning everything. He couldn't be in love with her, sure there's sexual chemistry between them, but he wasn't in love with her. Although, he couldn't deny how much the dream had effected him, he couldn't stop picturing them kissing, or the sexual tension between the two, it was all he could think about, that, and the fact he'd love to just run up those stairs now and recreate it with her. He frowned at himself, as he stared up at the clouds drifted across the bright blue sky. Trying to concentrate on anything else, he rummaged through his pockets for his letter from his dad. He held it up in front of him, moving it around at different angles, hesitant to open it. It was the last thing his dad would ever give him and he wasn't sure he was really ready.
