It has been a few days since I spoke to Nina about the other night

When we had sex it was the greatest experience I have ever had in a while

But I made a mistake by telling her I loved her

I was all caught up in the moment 

I needed to set things straight before she gets the wrong ideas

So I called her

Hey Nina I said on the phone

"Hey Chris is everything alright" she asked

Yeah everything fine why you ask I said 

"Well I haven't heard from you in a few days after we had se-" 

I cut her off before she could finish her sentence

Yeah I was just wondering if you could come down to my office so we can talk

"Yeah sure what time though" she asked 

Is right now okay

"If it's urgent I can come now" she said

"Sure I'm just  going to need to drop Braxton off at my Mom's right quick"

"So can you give me like 10-15 mins and I'll be at the office," she said

Okay then bye I hung up the phone and took a deep breath still not knowing what I was gonna say when she gets here

*15 mins later*

I felt a small knock on my door

I opened the door to be met with Nina's pretty face

She's so beautiful without even trying 

She took her jacket off and tossed it on the couch

She then looked at me 

The office remained quiet as we stared at each other. 

"So are what did you want to talk to me about" she asked with a smile on her face

I knew the words I was about to exchange with her were gonna wipe it away

So um the other night you know when we had sex 

I said some words I didn't mean 

"Like what" she asked with her smile turning to a frown

Well I said well we both said that we loved each other 

"Yeah and what about that" she asked sounding a little upset

I honestly was just so caught up in the moment of pleasure I ended up saying sum I didn't mean

She frowned 

I mean I've only known you for a few months and I'm your therapist, not your girlfriend you know

Her words were going one ear and out the other

I never thought this would happen between us

I was finally happy being around her but I guess that's all gone now

I tried to be strong as tears drowned down my face

I grabbed my jacket and left her office crying trying not to make contact with anybody in the lobby as I walked to my car

I drove to my mom's house 

I felt like I really needed her right now 

I knocked on the door as I cried 

She opened it and looked at my face and before I could say anything she pulled me into a hug

I suddenly broke down in her arms as she brought me into the house

She sat me down on the couch with her 

"Oh honey whats wrong," she said

She doesn't want me any more Mommy I said as my tears wet her sweater

She started rubbing circles on my back 

"Is this about that girl you were telling me about the other day" she asked

Yeah I mumbled 

"Oh honey maybe it just wasn't meant to be"

I guess so...
