This chapter takes place during Transformers: Energon. Normally, I agree with the notion that the Starscream in this show is a clone of the original, but for the purposes of this fic, Starscream here will be the original Starscream brought (halfway) back to life. Any who, enjoy the epilogue!
_____________________It's been a couple years now.
You're older, but still very much a young adult.
A lot of things have changed since you and your friends had come back to Earth. The Transformers had come out of hiding, formed an alliance with the human race, created numerous bases on other planets in the Milky Way, a new source of energy was found on Earth named Energon, and Rad, Alexis, and Carlos ran three different human-Autobot ally bases. As for you, you kept in touch with them, but weren't an active participant in their life. Optimus had offered you a home at the recently constructed Autobot Ocean city, and you humbly accepted. You kept up your practice on our swordsmanship. What did you do now? Well, you ran a self defense course, had a 9 to 5, nothing too extraordinary really. Which was funny, because Rad and his friends had accomplished so much. But you were content with this simple life.
You carried that small piece of Starscream's spark with you always, now having it on a necklace around your neck.
You had heard about the breach in security yesterday, how a transformer had somehow gotten in.. It intrigued you, so you went to the one person who you'd discuss things like this with.

Walking in to the main control room for the Autobots base, there was a calm buzz of activity. Alexis was at the control panel, reading over some documents and security footage.
You smiled. She had grown up to be a beautiful young woman, Mayor of Ocean City, embassador of Earth for the Autobot-human alliance. She was even preparing for a campaign to run for president. Really shooting for the stars.
"How's it going future Ms. President?"
Alexis laughed lightly, glancing to you with a smile, then back at her work. "Oh (N), you're very flattering. It's fine, although I'm taking a break right now. You sure you don't want to run as a VP for me?"
You chuckled back, putting your hands up in front of you. "I'm good. Besides, politics isn't really my cup of tea."
You walked over to her, looking up at the large screen. She was watching the security footage from the day before. You took a moment of silence before speaking, looking down to the floor. "I heard about what happened yesterday."
On the footage flashed a figure, before it went invisible again. Alexis also took a beat. She looked wistful. "Yeah, Kicker sensed an intruder in Ocean city. It followed Optimus to Lunar city. Optimus said it sounded like..."
She became silent. The both of you knew the news. It was seemingly impossible.
You responded, gazing away from Alexis, thinking of his gift to you. "... It can't be Alexis. It just can't. Starscream would never..."
She clicked away the documents, focusing on another camera's recordings. "Because he's dead?" She rationalized. Immediately she doubted herself, glancing to the side."...Even if he's not, this isn't something he would do." She turned to observe you.
You gazed down at yourself, staring at the vial; the part of his spark that got away. After all these years, it hadn't fizzled out. And right now, it seemed to be glowing a bit brighter than normal. You held onto it tightly with a hand. "You know what? I think it really is him. Something must have brought his spark back online."
Alexis pondered this train of thought, putting a finger to her chin. "Or someone. Maybe he's not whole, because his spark's not whole."
