Burning Love (Bakugo x reader)

Chapter 91

They were far into the building but found them eventually. You made sure to not get noticed immediately. You saw a man with a bird mask that was similar to the one the villain had on outside. Then you saw Mirio and a small child wrapped in his cape behind him. This must be the man that kidnapped her. Midoriya was on the floor, off to side slightly, he looked badly injured. 

You quietly made your way towards him. The villain too distracted with fighting Mirio. 

"Y/n?" Midoriya whisper shouts and you kneel down next to him. "What are you doing here?" He asks.

"I came inside to help Amajiki buy then I heard you scream and got worried. You explain. You noticed that one of his legs and arm is broken. "Here, I can help." You say. 

You opened the jug of water you had clipped to your belt that you typically used to fight with. You took some water out and and slowly engulfed Midoriyas arm in it, then you froze it, creating somewhat of a cast. Then you did the same with his leg. You weren't sure it would do much but now he won't loose more blood. 

When you looked back up at Mirio and the villain fight, you noticed that he was giving Mirio a hard time. That villain was damn right crazy. 

"Oh no." You heard Midoriya  say. You turned to see what he was looking at. There you saw another person come out in a similar bird mask. You saw him raise his and face it towards Mirio, then his hand started glowing like it was charging up or something. You couldn't keep hiding anymore. 

You stood up and sent a large flame whip to the villains hand and he jumps back. 

"Ugh, not another one." The villain fighting Mirio says. 

"Y/n!" Mirio shouts. "Grab her and get out of here." He demands. Normally you would have protested but you thought it would be best to get you out of the building since getting her to safety is what this whole mission is about. 

As you made your way to the small girl the villain fighting Mirio made tall pillars out of cement to try and stop you from getting to her. You dodged and weaved under the pillars and just as you were about to get to the girl you heard the villains laugh. You glanced over and noticed the other villain had his hand facing Mirio again and just as you were about to attack, he fired. A sort of beam escaped his arm and it went right for Mirio, he used his quirk the last second and it went right through him. 

Then you saw that right behind Mirio was the girl. You jumped over the rest of the pillars in your way and right into the small girl, wrapping your arms around her just before the beam could hit her. You shut your eyes as you felt a sharp pain of where the beam hit your back. The you felt a warmth that slowly spread through your whole body. 

"Y/N!" You heard Midoriya yell. 

You opened your eyes when the pain went away, not feeling anything anymore. 

"You brat!" The villain yells. "That wasn't meant for you!" He adds. 

You got up with the girl in your arms feeling fine. You looked over at Mirio, give him a confused look and shrug. You go to walk away with the girl when you feel a sharp pain in your head and let out a small scream. You bring a hand up to your head as it begins to throb and you feel yourself start to heat up as if you've got a fever. 

"There is it." The villain says with a small laugh. 

You set the girl down as you feel yourself get weak and fall to your knees, cradling your head. It feels like it's going to explode. You lay on your side and begin to roll around on the floor yelling. Then it suddenly stops. You slightly open your eyes but feel sleep take over. 

When you open your eyes again you're in your dorm bathroom? You're facing the mirror and looking back at yourself. You look down and notice you have scissors in one hand and...a piece of your red hair in the other. You barely have time to panic about what is happening when the bathroom door opens and you see...Bakugou.

"What the fuck are you doing dumbass?" He says, taking the scissors away from you and pulling you out of the bathroom. "When are you going to go back to nor-" He slowly stops talking when he looks into your eyes, that are now scared and teary. "Never mind, I guess." He scoffs and crosses his arms. 

"Bakugou?" You ask softly. "What the fuck is going on?" You finally ask.
