Chapter 98

"Uh...That doesn't matter right now." You say trying to dodge the subject. "I originally came here to apologize to you." You admit. He seemed confused. "About what happened earlier. You explain gesturing to the bracelets on your arms.

"Oh. It's fine, it was because of that villain's quirk, it wasn't your fault." he says.

"Yeah I know but I still feel terrible for treating you like that." You admit, looking down at the ground.

"Y/n, it's ok. I know you didn't mean what you were saying." He says, smiling at you.

"Yeah." You say slowly, feeling uneasy. Some of the things you told him weren't complete lies, but you didn't want to tell him that. You pull him in for one last hug before beginning to leave.

"Wait Y/n. I want to apologize too." Shoto says as you begin to open the door. You look back at him, wondering why he's apologizing. "For the whole Bakugou thing, I trust your judgment." He continues and you genuinely smile.

"Thanks Shoto. Goodnight." You say, leaving the room and gently closing it.

You snuck back to Bakugou's room, quietly opening the door and shutting it behind you. You notice Bakugou sitting up from laying on his bed as he hears you come in. You walk over to the bed and sit down next to him.

"What did he say about your hair?" He asked, and that's when you realize.

"He didn't even notice my hair!" You whisper shout, not believing he didn't notice a major change in your appearance.

"Are you fucking kidding me." Bakugou replies, disappointed in your brother.

"Well, I guess a lot happened." You say, thinking back to the event that unfolded.

"You were gone for like 30 minutes. What could have happened?" He scoffs. You look at him intently, wondering if you should share this with him given his history with Midoriya, but you had to tell somebody and you knew Bakugou wasn't that kind of person.

"Ok. Come help me braid my hair while I tell you." You say and he jokingly rolls his eyes as he makes his way over to you.

"I knew it! I fucking knew it! Racoon eyes owes me $5" He exclaims, after you told him what happened in your brother's room.

"You bet on them liking each other?" You asked, laughing at his reaction, not thinking Bakugou would be the type to like gossip. You face him properly as he finishes helping you braid your hair.

"No, I bet that one of them would confess this year. Racoon eyes bet they would confess next year." He says, with a smug smile. You gently shove him, but you can't help but smile at him.

You yawn as the time finally catches up to you. You begin to put the covers over yourself, about to lay down when you notice Bakugou just staring at you.

"What's wrong? Are you not sleepy?" You ask, wondering why he's not coming to lay next to you.

"I am. It just...we are umm..." He says, looking away with a hint of pink you could see on his face with the light from the moon.

"What? It's not like we haven't slept in the same bed before." You say with a small laugh.

"Yeah but this is the first time we do it as a cou-" He stops himself when he realizes he didn't actually ask if you wanted to be a couple.

"What?" You ask.

"Are we dating?" He asks, looking intently at you this time. He doesn't want any more miscommunication.

You didn't expect him to be that forward, you looked at him in shock. But you did wonder the same thing.

"Do you want to?" You answer with your own question.

"Yes! Fucking of course I want to date you." He answers slightly raising his voice and lunges at you. Wrapping his arms around you and burying his face in your neck, causing you to fall back. "That's what I've been trying to tell you this whole time, idiot." You could barely understand what he said with his head in the crook of your neck.

You freed your arms from his hug to return it by wrapping your arms around his head.

"I want to be the only one you do this with." He said softly this time. You felt your face heat up and you didn't know how to say what you were feeling exactly.

"ok..." You said quietly. There was a silence before Bakugou lifted his head up.

"That's it? Just ok?" He questioned you with a scowl on his face.

"I'm sorry I don't know what to say to something like that." You defend, bringing your hands up to cover your face, not wanting to look him in the eyes.

"Tell me how you fucking feel idiot." He said, releasing you from his grip. He props himself up on his arms that he places on either side of your head.

You slowly uncover your eyes to find him staring intently at you. He was completely serious, with a hint of pink to his cheeks.

"I...uh..." You struggled to reply with his eyes staring deeply into yours. You looked down at his lips and remembered what he did earlier. "How about I show you." You said before bringing your hands up to hold his face and gently pull his head down so your lips could meet.

You both melted into the kiss. You slid your arms around his neck. The two of you shared a few more kisses before Bakugou spoke.

"That settles it. I'm your boyfriend. Got that?" He said confidently. You nodded and pulled him down for another kiss, no longer wanting to go to sleep. It was a weird feeling you never felt before, you didn't want this to end. "Hey, it's late and you have to wake up early to sneak out of here. Aren't you tired?" He reminds you.

"Aww. Is it past your bedtime?" You tease, gaining some confidence. You try to pull him in for another kiss but he doesn't let you.

"Oh really?" He asks with furrowed brows, clearly not liking your joke.

"Bakugou wait." You say laughing, trying to stop him from getting up but you couldn't. He lays down on the other side of the bed facing away from you. You couldn't keep yourself from laughing harder. What a drama queen.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I was just kidding." You say, holding back your laughter. You lightly nudged his shoulder. "Just one more kiss?" You ask.

"No, it's past my bedtime, remember." He retorts, and you start laughing again. He's so petty, but so cute too.

You manage to turn him onto his back and before he could turn back on his side you moved your leg across his waist to straddle him.

"One last kiss goodnight?" You say softly as you lean down to his face, propping yourself up with your arms on either sides of his head. "Please?" You say, looking down at his lips. Bakugou feels so stiff and you begin to worry until you hear him whisper something.

"ok." Is all he says looking at your lips too.

Finally, you lean down and connect your lips. You smile into the kiss as you feel him relax. When you finally pull away, you feel his hands on your waist.

"Goodnight." You smile at him before you lay your head on his chest and move your legs so you're now laying on him. You managed to fall asleep as soon as you closed your eyes.
