"Can I ask what happened?" She asked, trying to hide the sound of the first snip of the scissors, but the sound still sent shivers down your spine.

"...It was an accident. I wasn't in my right mind I guess." You answered, trying to ignore the feeling of your hair getting cut. The last thing you wanted was to cry in front of her.

"I can tell your hair is very important to you. But it doesn't define you, ok?" She says, lightly lifting your chin up to look at her. It was harder to keep the tears in when she was looking at you with such a soft smile. "Hair holds lots of memories, maybe it's time to let these go." She says looking at the red pieces of hair now on the floor.

You felt the hot tears stream down your face as she pulled you into her chest for a hug. She softly rubbed your back. You hated crying in front of people but she made it so easy for you to open up. You soon stopped crying and she rubbed the tears from your face once you pulled back.

"I don't know exactly what you're going through, but I'm always here to talk, ok?" She says cupping your cheeks one last time before going back to cut your hair. She was so nice, you had no idea why Bakugou was so mad and defensive all the time.

"There. All done!" She exclaims, taking the towel off your shoulders and leading you to the mirror. "What do you think?" She says with her usual smile.

As you stared into the mirror, you almost didn't recognize yourself. You kind of looked like...your mom. You didn't really know how to feel about it. Your hair is still rather long, it stops mid chest which is short for you since your hair was down to your hips but you think you can get used to it.

"I like it. Thank you so much." You say looking at her with a smile. She wraps her arms around you giving you one last squeeze before letting go.

"Come." She said gently, leading you out of the bathroom and into another room by your hand. As you enter the room you notice that it's Bakugou's room. It's actually very neat and organized. He also has lots of All Might posters and figurines which you find very cute. "It's very late and I don't want you catching a cold." She said as she let go of your hand to start rummaging through his closet.

"Oh no, it's ok, it's not that cold." You say trying to convince her you don't need whatever she's planning to give you.

"Nonsense. I'm sure Katsuki won't mind." She said finally grabbing a sweater and wrapping it around you. Giving in, you put your arms through the sleeves and she zipped it up. "I'll get the car started." She said giving you one last smile before leaving the room and closing the door.

You looked around the room, you wanted to learn more about Bakugou. The time you spend with him is usually when you two are asleep so this is nice. Then you remembered that night you kicked him out of your room, then all the memories of the day before fill your head.

You notice something that makes you lose your train of thought. You saw something shiny in the trash can, stepping closer you see that it's the gold metal from the sports festival. You picked it up, you can't believe he's so petty he actually threw it away.

"Nosy ass." You jump as you hear Bakugou's voice behind you. Turning around you see him with his arms crossed.

"I'm sorry. You mom kind of just left me in here and put your sweater on me because she said she said it was too cold and-"

"Ok ok, I don't actually care that much." He cuts you off, grabbing a sweater for himself from his closet.

"Why did you throw this away? You ask him, looking down at the medal.

"I think you know why." He says as he puts on his sweater.

"Because you're petty." You say trying not to smile.

"What- I'm not petty." He defended turning around and looking at you. When you made eye contact the anger seemed to be replaced with sadness. He snatched the medal from your hands and threw it back into the trash.

"Bakugou, I'm sorry." You said stepping closer to him

"It doesn't even matter anymore." He said, snatching the medal from your hands and threw it back into the trash.

"No, not about that. Well, about everything." You said looking down at the floor.

"It's fine, idiot. I know you didn't mean anything you said earlier, and so do the other extras." He said.

"Really?" You ask looking up at him.

"Of course dumbass, you fucking hate Monoma and you would never do anything to hurt your stupid brother. That's how I knew the villain had some kind of opposite quirk. He tried to use it on Mirio to get him on their side." He explained. You felt tears well up in your eyes. You couldn't help it, you stepped closer to Bakugou as you rested your head on his chest and wrapped your arms around his waist.

"Bakugou, I missed you so much." You say squeezing him tight.

"What?" He asked, confused by your sudden outburst.

"I overreacted, I shouldn't have kicked you out of my room that night. I miss you helping me braid my hair, and keeping me warm, and talking to you. I'm so sorry." You finally let out how you've been feeling.

"Y-You're an idiot." He says as his cheeks burn a bright red and he looks away as he places his arms around you. After a few moments you stop crying but continue hugging Bakugou.

"Can things go back to normal now?" You ask, lifting your head to look up at him. He opened his mouth to say yes but he hesitates.

"...No, I don't want things to go back-" He was interrupted by the door opening. The two of you scramble to get away from each other, and act normal.

"The car is ready." Bakugou's mom says as she bursts into the room. "Was I interrupting something?" She says as she brings a hand up to her mouth to cover a smile.

"No, you weren't!" Bakugou says as he grabs your wrist and begins dragging you to the car. The four of you enter that car, and his dad begins to drive. You look out the window.

He doesn't want things to go back to normal? You thought he forgave you. Is he still mad at you? What if he never wants to talk to you again?

The car stops and you realize you're already at the train station. You exit the car and so does Bakugou, and his mom.

"Alright sweetie, don't be a stranger okay?" She says to you as she gives you a hug. You nod and hug her back. You and Bakugou walk in the train as she waves goodbye one last time before getting in the car.

The train ride was silent. You were scared that if you retired to talk you'd start crying again so you just stayed quiet.

After a while the train stopped and you both got out and started walking back to UA. You were prepared to walk in silence when Bakugou spoke up.

"Y/n?" He said.

"Hm?" Is all you said, not wanting to look at him. He reached and grabbed your hand before speaking again.

"Ok I know I shouldn't have said it like that. Just let me try again." He said. The two of you were now stopped. You wanted to snatch your hand away and be mad at him, but that's exactly what happened last time, so you made sure to be patient this time. "What I meant to say is that I don't want to be 'just' friends."
