Aiah's POV

when Mikha left the house I texted her "take care Lim!", before I went to my room I cleaned myself first, put on my pajamas and lay down into my bed, I checked my phone if there was a response from her but sadly there's none, I just closed my eyes and fell asleep

I woke up early in the morning and the first thing I did was to check my phone if there was a response from her and there were still none, I'm starting to be worried so I texted Staku if she saw Mikha in her unit since they're in the same condo hotel, Staku replied "I didn't saw her this morning ate Aiah, 'di din umuwi si Jho" she said

I quickly took a shower and changed and then went to Staku's unit, we were waiting for them, Staku cooked our lunch and dinner, I got bored of waiting  so I just told Staku na i update ako if makikita niya si Mikha sa unit niya, inihatid ako ni Staku sa entrance and we saw Mikha na akbay akbay si Jho, inaalalayan niya ito

Staku quickly ran to check if Jho was okay, she's okay pero lasing nga lang

"'wag mo 'kong iwan Staku" Jho said and si Staku na umalalay kay Jho

I was staring at Mikha and she looked so scared so I went to her and held her face

"are you okay? where have you been?" I said and I was checking on her

"I'm fine Aiah, thank you for asking" she said and she held both of my hands, lumapit ako konti sakaniya and I smell alcohol, ang lakas ng amoy

"you smell like alcohol Lim!" I said and pushed her

"look, inaya ako nila Colet, we went sa xylo nung hinatid kita, na umagahan kami do'n" she said and lumapit siya sa'kin

"and then? where did you spend your whole day huh?" I asked her and naka kunot na yung kilay ko

"Deej and Chie saw us at our table, we were really drunk that time so we couldn't walk because of our drunkenness, pinunta kami ni Deej and Chie sa bahay nila don't worry nasa iisang kwarto kaming apat and there were 2 beds, si ate Colet and katabi ko at sa other bed si Jho 'tsaka Gwen naman" she said, Deej and Chie who?

I just nodded at her and hinila niya ako and went for a hug

"thank you for worrying about me" she whispered and I pushed her back

"'di tayo talo Lim" I said with a serious tone

"let's have dinner? babawi ako" she said and smiled at me, I can't with her cuteness so I just nodded

sinama niya ako sa unit niya kase she'll clean herself daw since 'di siya nag palit ng clothes niya, lakas ng amoy halatang lasing na lasing talaga, she let me sit in the living room, who is Deej and Chie? baka isa sakanila yung special someone niya, kalma Aiah walang kayo, don't overthink too much

while I was overthinking Mikha's cats went on my lap and it looks like both of them want to cuddle with me, I cuddled them and after an hour of waiting bumaba na si Mikha and she smiled at me

"cute" she said and put out her phone and took a photo of us

I put her cats down as she fed them naman, we went outside her unit na and Mikha went to the parking lot to get her car while I waited at the entrance, after a few minutes she parked her car where I was standing and she went out of her car to open the car door for me, such a gentlewoman Mikha

"shall we?" she said and I nodded at her as she starts driving

we arrived at the restaurant, we parked at the entrance of the restaurant and she gave her car keys to the valet, this restaurant is expensive

"let's go?" Mikha said and held my waist

the waitress assigned a seat for us and Mikha pulled the chair then let my seat before her, she's acting weird today, she smiled at me and called the waiter and ordered the food for us

"so, why are you worried about me Aiah?" she said and I saw her smirking into my face

"it's because we're friends. Lim" I said and her joy quickly changed into sadness

what's wrong about what I said?

Mikha's POV

when Aiah said that I felt like one of the strings in my heart broke, ouch pighati aguy gusto ko nalang mag tampo dun sa bundok na 'di mo 'ko makikita tapos 'di mo 'ko matatawagan, kakaibang worried naman yan Aiah eh, 'di ka naman ganiyan mag worry sa mga friends mo, ano ba talaga tayo?

naging awkward siya for a while until she starts explaining her side why she's worried about me, parang nag rarap siya sa bilis ng pagkakasabi niya, 'di ko masiyadong na gets kasi yung nag eecho sa utak ko eh yung "friends"

Mikhaela Janna (friends) Lim, ouch naman pakinggan yan boss, can we be like more than friends? is this the right time to confess my love for her? while she's explaining I suddenly cut her off

"what are we?" I said with a serious tone and Aiah looked so shocked

"huh?" she said confused

"what are we Aiah?" I said and looked into her eyes

"look Lim, I'm just worried about you since you and Jeremy fought, baka mamaya anong gawin sa'yo and-" she said and I cut her off again

"what are we Aiah?" I said and her face turned red, naawa ako so inurong ko nalang yung question baka umiyak eh

"joke lang 'to naman 'di mabiro" I said and ako lang yung tumawa sa'ming dalawa

after that question she went silent even no'ng kumakain kami, hayst Mikha anong ginawa mo ikaw kase eh nadadala nanaman intrusive thoughts mo, after our dinner lumabas na kami ng restaurant and waited for my car, when my car arrived I opened the car door for and went inside

while I was driving nagsalita na siya and kaboom ang mundo ko

"you asked me a few minutes ago "what are we" right?" she said and her tone of voice is different

"ahuh" I said and was confused

"I like you Mikha, the time when I was crying backstage sa runway namin and you were there to comfort me, nahulog ang loob ko sa'yo that time, I didn't know I'll fall for you too fast nakakainis ka, I admired you from afar since I thought na matutuloy marriage namin ni Jeremy, when we went to my dad's mansion I talked to him na i urong yung marriage namin ni Jeremy but then he told me na kinausap ka ni Jeremy and I don't need to beg about our marriage, I also talked to him na I already liked you and he support me from liking you, you're really that gentlewoman Mikha, naiinis lang ako sa'yo kase 'di mo maramdaman na gusto kita and ang bilis mo mag pa fall" she said and I was so shocked that I pulled over the car
