Tinkling of the Shop's bell caused me to open my eyes. I turned my head towards the door and saw the book shop girl walk in my direction with a tray in her hands.

Naam puch le, bhai.

(Ask her name, bro.)

She walked to us and kept two cups of coffee on the table along with a plate full of cookies then kept a bowl of milk on the floor for GD.

"Gajodhar, come eat." She said, looking at GD while pointing towards the bowl.

GD jumped off my lap, instantly and started feeding himself like he had been starving for years.

"I fed you an hour ago! Stop acting like you've never been fed." The girl exclaimed while looking at her over enthusiastic cat, causing a chuckle to escape my lips.

"How old is he?" I asked while taking a sip of coffee.

Tasty!

"This is really tasty!" I exclaimed, before she could answer my question.

She smiled and took a sip herself.

"He's one." She replied to my earlier question.

I nodded then my gaze fell on her cup.
