The moment I saw Abhishek standing infront of me, my body worked on its own. For someone who always stays in her boundaries and avoids physical touch at all costs, I couldn't control myself when I saw him emerging like a break in the clouds.
My feet sprint towards him and I launched myself into his arms, closing my eyes as relief washed over me. I broke down into a fit of tears, wrapping my arms around his waist in desperation. His mere presence alleviated my fear and made me feel sheltered.
I don't know what could have happened if he didn't arrive.
I could feel his body getting shell-shocked at my instantaneous action but the whole incident that happened a few minutes ago, was too emotive for me to care. He overcame his shock after a few seconds and wrapped his arms around me hesitantly as I silently cried the tears of solace.
"What happened to you, Prisha? Why.. Why is your arm bleeding?" He asked as his right hand slid to the back of my head and he caressed it gently, trying his best to calm me.
I was so overwhelmed at the moment that no words came out of my mouth. I just tightened my hold around him and continued crying.
"Prisha, it's going to be okay. We're here now. Everything will be alright. Can you please tell me what happened?" He asked, in a soothing voice.
