THE NEXT MORNING -
It was already dawn, but there was someone whose life had been engulfed in darkness. Maya, who had spent the entire night sobbing, didn't even realize when she finally fell asleep. She slowly opened her eyes and suddenly sat up screaming.
Her face, drenched in sweat, had eyes wide open in terror. She immediately glanced around the room, but there was no one there, and there wasn't a trace of light. One by one, every scene from the previous night echoed in her mind. She placed her hand on her chest, and then her eyes fell on the lehenga choli and anklets lying on the floor.
Seeing them, Maya's eyes filled with tears. But she also knew that she had to face this hatred someday, although she had never imagined it would be this horrific. She glanced at her own body, which was covered only by a shirt. Maya felt extremely uncomfortable in this single piece of clothing. She immediately picked up the lehenga with her hands and, within moments, covered her entire body with the red lehenga choli.
Just then, she heard some commotion from outside. Hearing this, she quickly opened the door and ran outside, and as soon as she entered the corridor, the sight before her eyes left her stunned.

Seeing him in such a condition shattered her heart into countless pieces.
"No!!!!!!" she screamed.
And like a madwoman, she ran downstairs. During this, her dupatta fell on the stairs, but Maya was oblivious to this fact. She continued running and fell to her knees right next to Raghu. The men standing in front, who were continuously beating Raghu, suddenly stopped their hands due to Maya's arrival. Maya immediately cradled Raghu in her embrace and pleaded, "Please, don't hurt him."
A painful smile appeared on Raghu's lips.
"I-I won't let anything happen to you, Maya."
Maya burst into tears, "Why did you come here? Why?"
In a voice filled with agony, Raghu replied, "How could I leave you to suffer alone?"
On Raghu's selflessness, Maya was torn apart.
"You shouldn't have come here." Maya cried out, closing her eyes in anguish.
Suddenly, Raghu was pulled away from her and one of the men, while beating him, said, "This fool thinks he's a hero. I'll show him what a hero gets!"
