THIRD PERSON

Abhay lifted the unconscious Maya in a single jerk, as if she were a lifeless doll. And, In the next moment, he poured a bucket of cold water over her, causing her eyes to flutter open as she began to regain consciousness.

The water splashed on Maya's face like a slap, jolting her awake. Raghu screamed, "Thakur!!!"

"Don't shout, Raghu!" Abhay yelled back, his voice reverberating through the room, his eyes blazing with uncontrollable anger.

Abhay grabbed Maya by the waist and, turning to Raghu, mercilessly seized Maya's chin, "How much do you love her?" he snarled.

Maya's eyes were blinking rapidly, struggling to stay upright. Abhay's question shook Raghu to his core.

"What's wrong? No words to say?" Abhay taunted, casting his gaze upon Maya with a voice filled with disdain.

"She broke one heart and turned it into a festering wound, and now she wants to destroy another." He turned back to Raghu, his tone menacing, "There's still time, straighten up, or you won't even get a chance to regret it."

"And those exact words I want to say to you, Thakur. Straighten up and look into her eyes instead of her silence; you'll find answers to all your questions!!!" Raghu responded with a voice filled with intensity.

"I've stopped searching for answers." Abhay said, looking at Maya. Suddenly, his jaw tightened, and he gripped her hair fiercely, pulling it into his fist.

"Aaah!!!" Maya cried out in pain.

Seeing her in agony, Raghu pleaded, "Don't do this, Thakur. Stop!"

Abhay laughed like a madman, "Stop? Hmm?"

With that, he tightened his grip on Maya's hair and pulled her face close to his, glaring into Raghu's eyes.

"Now watch her downfall."

He pressed his burning lips onto hers, delivering the cruelest kiss this world had ever seen-devoid of love, devoid of care, filled only with brutality. Raghu's heart shattered, and Abhay, pushing Maya against the wall, pressed his entire weight on her. Maya struggled to break free, but Abhay clasped both her wrists in one hand and began kissing her neck mercilessly with the other. Maya's lips turned red, starting to bleed slightly, the blood mixing with Abhay's lips and seeping into his mouth.

Suddenly, from some unknown strength, Maya pushed Abhay away and SLAPPED HIM hard across the face.

The sound echoed in the silent room. Maya's face was burning with anger, and a smile spread across Abhay's lips.

Maya stepped closer, grabbing his arm, and shaking him as she shouted, "Yes, I betrayed you, left you, and for that, I'm ready to die. But remember this, Thakur Saheb, I WON'T LET ANYONE PLAY WITH MY DIGNITY UNTIL AND UNLESS I'M ALIVE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

All the pent-up anger inside Maya burst out at Abhay.

She broke down, falling to her knees, and in a broken voice, she said, "For God sake don't degrade yourself to punish me. I know you don't want to hurt me, atleast NOT LIKE THIS. So don't destroy your own principles."

Abhay stood silent, and Maya continued crying, "The Abhay Thakur who burned people alive for hurting a woman's honor-how can he insult me? My pain isn't for myself but for you, because you're becoming a monster in your hatred for me, and I can't bear to see you like this."
