I was so happy to head home after what felt like the longest day ever. First I had exams, then I had to go to a work party for my mom's business, resulting in my sisters meeting my boyfriend.

Unfortunately, my plans to stop Violet and Saide from walking over to him didn't work. They were so embarrassing. They were telling him weird stuff about me and asking how we met and stuff. This will, without a doubt, go down as one of the worst days of my life. My sisters got the chance to mock me in front of my first-ever boyfriend.

The whole car ride Violet and Sadie were sharing what they learned from their amazing conversation with Grant. I was surprised at how much talking Violet could do while she was supposed to be focusing on the road.

"His favorite color's blue and he moved here a couple of months ago," Violet said while at a stop light.

"He also said he thinks Addison is very cute and that she looked gorgeous tonight," Sadie said.

My sisters went wild over this and I turned to face the window so they wouldn't see me blushing. I think I walked away before he said that. He probably knew they would tell me.

The conversation about Grant and I ended when a driver behind us was a little too close to our car.

"I think the person behind us is trying to tell you to go faster," Olivia said. She was turned around in her seat, squinting to see if she knew the person.

"I don't care, I'm not going faster. I'll do what I can if they don't like it, oh well." Violet shrugged.

The person's engine roared and now they were basically an inch away from our car. It looked like they were going to crash into us. If I was Violet, I'd drive faster.

"That person is driving with RAGE," Violet yelled with a laugh over the music in the car.

"He's telling you to drive faster," Oliva said. She looked like she wanted to jump in the driver's seat and hit the gas.

"Liv! Don't assume their gender. That is so rude. What if it's a girl?" Sadie said, smacking Olivia slightly.

"I'm pretty sure it's a boy," Olivia said, turning back around once more to look again.

I turned around too. Honestly, it looked like a man but it could also be a woman so I didn't give my opinion.

The driver abruptly switched lanes to the one left of us, zooming past us and honking his- I mean their horn.

"Oh, they just flipped you off, Violet," Willa said staring out the window.

"And they left their thumb up too which means they meant it," Sadie said, "That's a real fuck you."

"I didn't even see it and I'm not to give them the reaction that they want. I'm better than that." Violet said, flipping her hair behind her shoulder.

"Are you?" Olivia asked.

"I am."

"Do you truly believe that?"

"I do."

"Okay. I'll let you believe what you want to believe."

"Are you saying I'm not a good person!?"

"I never said that."

"You implied it though."

"No, I didn't."

"Yass you did."

"I'm not going to argue with you Violet."

"Uh-huh. You know what Liv? You look a little mad. Why don't you go take a smoke break."

Everyone gasped. It's been weeks since Olivia last smoked a cigarette and we all know that Olivia gets ticked off easily when she doesn't have cigarettes.

Thank goodness we were in the parking lot of our house because Olivia had jumped in the front and started grabbing at Violet's hair, yanking it back and forth.

Everyone else got out of the car and went inside. Willa turned on the lights and Sadie walked away on her phone, not saying a word to anyone.

"I'm going to the bathroom!" I yelled to anyone who was listening.

"Congratulations." Was the response I got from Willa.

I rolled my eyes and walked to my room to use the bathroom and get ready for bed. I had homework I needed to do and a few chapters of a book I had to read but I decided I would do it early in the morning, right now I just wanted to go to bed.

After I got under the warm blankets of my bed and fluffed up my pillow, all I needed to do was close my eyes. That's all I needed to do but of course that didn't happen, it never does when I want it to.

Want me to tell you what happened instead?

Well, I guess I will. After getting under the blankets, fluffing up my pillow, and laying my head down instead of closing my eyes and going to sleep my bedroom door busted open and my Sadie dragged me out to the living room where the rest of my sisters were.

"What's going on?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

Violet jumped excitedly and the rest of my sisters giggled.

"We're throwing a party!"

(A/N: Okay, it's been a while. Sry about that 🫤. When I started this book I had lots of ideas for it in my mind. I have since realized that it is harder to take those ideas and type them into chapters. That being said, I am still writing this book but it may take a lot longer to update until I get my ideas sorted out. I'll be as consistent as possible but being five chapters in and not yet into the main plot has made me take a step back and now I am trying to figure out what I want to happen next. Thank you all for reading and I can't wait to see you guys again with the next chapter. (◔‿◔)
