"Mason, are you sure about this?" I asked as I zipped up the winter coat he was letting me borrow.

"Of course. What could go wrong?"

"Everything."

Mason didn't answer as we walked to the front door. Sadie and Marc were too consumed in their movie to hear us leaving.

As soon as we stepped outside, I was hit by the cold. I rubbed my hands together and breathed out, able to see my warm breath in the air. I was wearing gloves and a winter hat that kept my ears warm. The wind was blowing the snow in my face, and my nose was freezing. With the way the weather was expected to be, I knew I was not going to make it through this winter without getting sick.

Mason hugged himself as we walked. If I felt like this, I could only imagine what he felt like—he was the sick one, after all.

"How far's your house again?" Mason asked.

"Uh- like maybe a two-mile walk?" My teeth chattered as I spoke and Mason groaned.

"We should've taken the bikes."

We walked stiffly in our thick winter clothes and tried to make sure we stayed on the sidewalk. Since no one had plowed the road yet it was pretty hard to tell where you were walking.

On the way to my house Mason and I talked about mostly random stuff. We did a lot of catching up and before I knew it an interesting topic came up in our conversation.

"Did you see that one story Marc posted on his private Instagram?" Mason asked me.

"Your brother? No. I'm not sure if I follow him on his private." I said.

Marc had two Instagrams. One public one where he posted things that made him look like an amazing person, the type of guy that would walk an old lady across the street. That was made for colleges that might want to recruit him to their schools.

The other one, the private one, was made for his inner circle of friends where he showed what he was really all about. On that one, he used a strange username that nobody would connect him to and the profile picture was a black hawk. That's where he posted his epic party videos and him doing stupid things. Basically, things that would get him in trouble, that is why the account's private.

Mason took his phone out of his pocket and removed one of his gloves so he could type in his password. I waited patiently as Mason pulled up Instagram and went to his brother's profile.

He then clicked on the profile picture to reveal Marc's last story.

It was a video of him and a bunch of boys in what looked to be a bathroom. I looked closer and saw that it was both of the football teams, junior and varsity.

One by one like in a montage, all of the varsity players grabbed a junior player and shoved their faces in the toilet. I watched in shock and my eyes became wide when I saw Violet's boyfriend, Dreck, grabbing my boyfriend and pushing his head into the toilet before flushing it.
