Remember All Is Near

Raging storm.
Reeling in.
Like the Tempest boat
It is unforseen.

The sky gone
Covered in clouds of grey.
Flooding streets
At home, there I shall stay.

With a thunderous roar
Come warning signs from within.
Hide under your blanket
Feel the hair lift from your skin.

Pitter pattering of raindrops
Falling on the airconditioner.
The chilling cold seeping through the window
You become an avid listener.

Cars driving through puddles
The splashing of water to the pavement.
Not one drop touching your clothes
You stand there in amazement.

Then there, so far away
A rainbow with 7 hues, they say.
Eyes staring up to the concealed sky
Its grey hands covering its crying eye.

Hi hi!

I wrote this poem when it was raining hard. And if you haven't figured it out yet, Tempest boat is a reference to the boat in Shakespeare's The Tempest.
And the title, when you only pick out the 1st letter of the words : R.A.I.N.

I hope you have a blessed morning/noon/afternoon/night/ evening!
