In and out.
North and South.
They are all we need to live
And then we can achieve.
Eyes and expectations
Are not actions.
They stress us
And they make a fuss.
Higher and lower
We can't cower.
Quiet and loud.
We need to make them proud.
Read and memorize
There will be a price.
Alone on the stage
At your age.
It was a great sight.
Light focused on you like a spotlight.
Don't deny it,
This'll be lit.
Everyone will cheer
And your fear will disappear.
Smile and open your mouth.
Don't move out and about.
Go up and stay.
Then you say
The thing that needs to be said.
So don't be afraid.
Just take a deep breath.
Inhale... Exhale...
You won't fail.
It's like saying a creed.
Breathe and start
It's like a work of art.
Talk and let it go
For it'll be a good show.

I don't need your sorries
For what I need is for you to do well
And everything will be swell.
In & out,just open your eyes
And don't tell no lies.
If you do it right
Then everything will be bright.
If you get a mistake
Just continue and shake.
It's just one thing to do
We'll all cheer for you.
Say it now
Then at the end take a bow.
Walk off the stage slowly
And you'll be happy.
For it was one obstacle
That you tackle.
Now go prepare for your next speech
But this time don't itch
