Written In the Stars (Boothill x reader)

okay so someone brought it up last chap and i actually forgot to mention this b4, I'm not from America and Boothill has an American accent. The only american accents ive heard are on tv and when foreigners visit my country. Sooo for me to try and recreate his accent I think I'd accidently just write him speaking english creole (which is what we speak) and yall might not understand that so the best i could do is standard english. just pretend its in his accent thingy. I hope u guys understand what I'm tranna say cuz yeah :D (if youre wondering I'm from the caribbean thats why I had to clear up my inability to copy accents) I hope u guys dont mind 

I shiver as I lay on the cold floor, the chains on my wrist shivering creating a constant rattling noise. My stomach grumbled, since I'd been in here for a little more than a day. The most the guards gave me was some water every few hours and some left overs once a day, which by the way wasn't a lot either. 

I sighed, my throat hurt from shouting for help. Aventurine came in once in a while to talk down to me and try to convince me to give Boothill's whereabouts away but I dont say anything to him. Sometimes he'd hit me but it wasn't enough to really do any damage, just to scare me i guess. 

Just as I had begun to wonder were Boothill really was, the door creaked open and a purple haired figure entered the chamber. I scowled as my eyes took in his figure, scooting closer to the wall. His heavy sigh echoed in the room,, "Don't be like that Y/n." I grunt and fold my arms, "well I'm sorry if I'm like this. Please have a seat, the floor is quite comfortable. OH, its better when you're chained up." 

He sighed and stood in front of me, "I don't even know why I'm here." I roll my eyes, "then leave." He shook his head and fidgeted with a piece of chalk, "I want to apologise. I know this is a betrayal but we simply aren't together anymore and I'm not obligated to hide you anymore-" Anger bubbled in my chest, I slammed my fist on the cold floor, "You were never obligated in the first place! If you had been truthful with me from the beginning this could have all been avoided." 

He glared at me, "what about you? This husband that you seemingly had. Why didn't you tell me about him either? If you were truthful from the start, I would've gladly helped you. But you kept it a secret and on top of that, broke up with me to go with him, still keeping me in the dark like a fool." 

I slumped against the wall, deep down I knew he was right. I shook my head, " that doesn't give you the right to do this just because you're betrayed. How can you be this heartless Veritas?" He flinched from my words and growled out, "you don't know anything about me. Don't make assumptions." I sigh and turn away, "you're right. You never gave me the chance to anyway, all your fault again. Just leave me alone veritas. you've done enough." 

He stood there for a moment before leaving without a word, slamming the door shut behind him. I sighed as he left, along with the tension from my body. Before I had time to think back to the conversation with Veritas, Aventurine walked in with a pair of IPC guards and he smirked at me, "well well Missy, your knight in shining armor is here." 

I furrow my brows and tilt my head, "how do you know?" Before he could reply, the entire room shook and a loud explosion could be heard from above. Aventurine sighed, "there he goes, I hope he doesn't cause too much damage, that'll come out of my pay." 

My limbs shook, my mind going frantic. Why was Boothill here? He shouldn't be here, why would he come back for me? Tears pooled in my eyes, "please stop this. " Aventurine looked at me with faux concern, "aww darling, but it's only just begun. You're our main even you see, the plan is already in motion." Suddenly his phone rang and he answered, cursing after a few seconds. 

I tilt my head in confusion and Aventurine chuckled dryly, "he came with help, the nameless of the Astral Express." 

GUYSS ITS BEEN SO LONG. IM REALLY SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG TO REPLY BUT SM HAPPENED. the day  i was gonna write this out and update, my dog made puppies so my brother and I were helping take care of them. i apologise for the short chap too, ive had a serious writers block. But the story will be over in a few chaps so yeahh. Ion rlly like how its goin so far but oh well, if you guys like it then idm. I have a habit of not liking what i write LMAO. anyway, ADD ME ON THESE GAMES GUISE I NEED FRIENS
