[The scene cuts to the plane flying over the desert. Mera was paying the driver while Aisha looked around.]
Driver: "I don't usually take charters, but I don't usually get paid in pirate treasure."
Mera: "Thanks for the ride dude." [Aisha looks out and puts a hand over her stomach.] "You ok?"
Aisha: "I've never been so high up before. Or so far from home." [Mera nods.]
Mera: "At least you have a home."
Aisha: "Not anymore. I can never go back. I betrayed everything when I saved you from the coliseum." [Mera looked outside.]
Mera: "You're engaged to the king right? Which is disgusting cause you're my cousin. But, they'll have to take you back. Right?"
Aisha: "Atlantis is many wonderful things. But forgiving, it is not."
Atlanna looked down
Mera: "Yeah, but you're royalty."
Aisha: "So was your mother. If I went back now, I'd be sacrificed to the Trench. Even my own father wouldn't take me back. And he's in Andros."
Mera: "Well, um... Look on the bright side, now you don't have to marry some tool bag that you're not in love with."
Aisha: "My obligation isn't to love. It is to my family and my nation, and I've turned my back on both. Sometimes, you have to do what's right, even if your heart aches against it."
