[The scene cuts to Mera in a beautiful green dress, sitting on the throne of Atlantis, holding the trident and her head in her hand as she looks elsewhere. Atlanna was doing most of the talking with the councils. Mera just watched.]
Klaus sat up before his eyes softened.
Atlanna: "...And so on and forth." [Atlanna looked at Mera who looked elsewhere. She smiled before looking back at the council] "You are dismissed." [The council nodded before leaving. Atlanna continued to be in her own world as Atlanna approached and sat next to her.] "What are you thinking about?"
Mera: "Nothing." [She sighs before getting up and swimming to her room. Atlanna followed] "Do I have anything else to do?"
Atlanna: "Nothing more sweetheart."
Mera: "Thank goodness."
[The scene cuts to Mera opening the double doors of her bedroom before setting her trident on the wall and sitting on her dresser. Mera sighed as she took off her crown. Atlanna leaned in the doorway as Mera started to take off her jewellery.]
Mera: "What's the point of being Queen? Everyone is striving well without me."
Atlanna: "That's not true sweetheart."
Mera: "Well it seems like it to me. There aren't even any pros to being one."
Atlanna: "Of course there are."
Mera: "Well tell me one then." [Atlanna pauses before looking out into the hallway and closing the door. Mera looked at her with her eyebrows furrowed as her mother came closer to her.]
Atlanna: "There are many perps to being Queen. For example, did you know we could bring our tridents to social gatherings or balls?"
Mera: "Ha ha, very funny Mother. In the royal scriptures, they state-"

Atlanna: " "No use or sighting of weapon is to be seen at special events, balls or get-togethers" I know." [Atlanna went closer to her trident.] "But did you know us Queens can turn our weapons into any piece of jewellery?" [Mera paused.]
Mera: "What?"
Atlanna: "Yes, it's true. If I had mine I could have showed you." [Atlanna took Mera's trident before handing it to her.] "Focus and close your eyes and make sure to hold your trident with both hands." [Mera did as she said with her eyes closed, she gripped the trident as hard as she could.] "Now think of any piece of jewellery in the world, it could be a ring, a pair of earrings, a hairpin-" [A golden glow came out of the trident making Atlanna close her eyes and shield herself. As soon as the glow died down, in Mera's hand sat a-] "or a bracelet."
Mera: "Wow," [She whispered before putting it on]
Stella raised an eyebrow and smiled. They were surely gonna get along.
[Mera turned to her mother.]
Mera: "Tell me more." [Atlanna smiled]
Atlanna: "I doubt you know this, but half of our ancestors are..." [Mera watched her intently]
Mera: "Aliens?"
Atlanna: "No-"
Mera: "Vampries?"
Atlanna: "No! Mera, where'd do you get these things from-"
Mera: "Werewolves?"
Atlanna: "No, sweetheart they were"
Mera: "Goblins?"
Atlanna: "Fairy's honey-" [Mera paused, before she slowly started laughing out loud at some point she wheezed.]
Klaus raised an eyebrow as Mera pulled a face before looking at Cisco who burst out laughing. Elena and Bonnie just shrugged at each other. Damon furrowed his eyes,
Mera: "Fairy's? Really? You're so funny mother, I might actually be crying"
Atlanna: "Honey, I'm being serious, your cousin Aisha is a fairy."
Mera: "What?!" [She stopped laughing.]
Atlanna: "Sweetheart why did you think she had wings?!"
Mera: "I thought they were there for decoration!"
Atlanna: "What?!"
Mera: "I don't know! Why are we yelling?!"
Rebekah laughed at their relationship.
Atlanna: "You are impossible sometimes," [Atlanna came up behind her before taking the bracelet and putting it on Mera's wrist,] "You look beautiful," [Mera smiled,] "I've been thinking about this for a while now, I think it's time for you to start college," [Mera furrowed her eyebrows,]
Mera: "But, what about Atlantis?"
Atlanna: "I can run Atlantis along with Vulko, now you-" [Atlanna brushed her hair,] "You are going to Alfea," [Mera's eyes widen before she turned to face her mother]
Mera: "You mean the prestigious school for fairies that I didn't believe until this very second?-"
Atlanna: "That's right,"
Mera: "When do I go?" [Mera's eyes twinkled,]
Atlanna: "Soon my child, be patient," [Mera smiled]
