Since I wasn't in any condition to walk for more than a few minutes, Dawn stole a wheelchair from the local hospital and a few sheets to cover my wings. While we lived in an area where most would probably not bat an eye at seeing them, there was always the chance that those who wished us harm would see and want a piece of me. Hot.
Evangeline pushed my wheelchair. I tried my best to keep my eyes forward cause everytime I caught sight of her boobs bouncing with each step out of the corner of my eye I couldn't help but stare and gawk. They really were perfect. They maintained the same rhythm when she walked. How was that possible? It was almost as if angel boobs defied gravity. No wonder people wanted to go to heaven—
I slapped myself in the face to break eye contact with her nipples. It wasn't right to look at her like that. She wasn't just any girl, she was my little angel and deserved to be treated with respect. The last thing she needed was for someone like me to be thirsting after her.
We slowed to a stop in front of a bus.
"Are you serious? We're taking public transportation? Here? In this town?" I asked as I crossed my arms. It was going to stink of BO and if we were lucky might even end up with aids from a needle left on the floor.
"Well, since you crashed the last car I stole, yes, this is the only option. Unless gay boy has a car," Dawn said, eying Seth with pity. "I know with a star bucks paycheck you probably don't have a car."
Seth flushed red, probably from both anger and embarrassment. "Cars are bad for the environment! Why would I kill the earth anymore than I have to when I can take the bus and do less damage?"
Tutting, Dawn shook his head and sat down at the bench on the bus stop. "Excuses, excuses. Just admit you're a poor excuse for a human."
"That's it!" Seth took the confederate money out of his pocket that Dawn had given him. "I'm going to get us a car." He growled as he stormed off towards a random for sale signed car and took out his phone. "Poor excuse for a human. At least I'm not a demon who can't even make real money."
"Hey making fake money is more than a hobby, it's an art thank you."
I rolled my eyes. "It's easier to just steal debit cards after observing their pins as you nuzzle them in the neck like a desperate lover. The rich ones can spare it."
Evangeline stared at me with wide eyes. "You steal money from others? Why can't you just ask for it? I'm sure good people would be willing to give it to you."
A random man started walking past and Evangeline went towards him.
"Excuse me sir, me and my friends are without a place to stay. If you could spare as little as a dollar, it would be much appreciated." Evangeline looked down at him with puppy dog eyes and the biggest pouty lip I had ever seen.
"You know, I could spare some money for a cutie like you. But if you need a place to stay, you could always come home with me," the scruffy man said with a wink.
I clenched my jaw and grabbed the arms of the wheelchair. What a creep. If I was at full capacity I would be beating the shit out of him right now.
"Oh! That's such a kind offer! Would it be okay if I took all my friends with me too?" Evangeline asked as she gestured to the whole group.
The man scowled. "I was thinking more of me and you." He grabbed her wrist. "Whatcha say? Come home with me, baby doll."
That was it. I became filled with strength from my rage. I stood up and chucked my wheelchair at him, hitting him in the side of his body. He fell to the ground hitting his head on the concrete and instantly became unconscious.
