Chapter 9: Rocking and Rolling

Jake and I had been hanging out a lot recently and I am starting to click with him like I did with Jason all those years ago which amazed me to be honest because we liked the same things and it was amazing.
"I just have to say this." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"You remind me of someone." I said.
"Who?" Jake asked.
"Someone who I haven't seen since Brody and I got kidnapped by Galavanax and Brody lost his brother too." I said.
"Oh I'm sorry." He said and I shook my head.
"Nah you're okay." I said.

The next day:
We were at Levi and Jake's concert and we entered with Levi and Jake as we had the backstage passes. We were amazed about how big the stadium was.
"Look." Sarah said.
"What?" Brody asked.
"This is epic." I said.
"Oh my gosh." Calvin said.
"I can't believe how big this place is." I said.
"Levi, Jake, 20 thousand people all coming to see you two." Sarah said.
"It's sold out crazy huh?" Levi said.
"I'm still amazed myself." Jake said.
"I heard some people waited in line all night." Brody said.
"We have been working so hard on this world tour they are going to love it!" Levi said.
"Yeah I cant wait." Jake said.
"Uh world tour?" I asked.
"How long are you going to be gone for?" Brody asked.
"Uh just 3 months but don't worry..." Levi started.
"The rangers need some gold and orange power we will be there." Jake said.
"Maybe we should talk about this." Brody said.
"Yeah I think that is a good idea." I said.
"Here is your biggest fan." Tom said as he brought Mary in.
"Levi! Jake!" Mary said as they both went towards her.
"Hey." They both said.
"Mary I am so glad you won those backstage passes." Levi said as they both hugged her.
"When I grow up I am going to be a singer and guitarist just like you two." She said.
"Sounds good buckeroo." Levi said.
"Hey how about we take a selfie?" I asked.
"Cool camera." Mary said.
"Does our biggest fan know our favourite food?" Levi asked. They then took a picture.
"Did you guys know that he was going on a world tour for 3 months?" Sarah asked.
"I had no idea." Brody said.
"Yeah me either." I said. There was a loud rumbling noise and I grabbed onto Brody for support.
"That's another earthquake." Brody said as his ninja comm then beeped.
"All those earthquakes are coming from a location close to you." Mick said.
"Really? Send us the coordinates mick and we will check it out." Brody said.
"Levi,Jake." I said.
"See ya Mary." They both said.
"Bye." She said and ran out.
"All these earthquakes aren't normal even for California we need to see what's causing them." Brody said.
" Levi, Jake we gotta move." Tom said.
"Be right there." Levi said.
"Looks guys out concert is about to start can you handle it?" Jake asked. Brody then looked at all of us.
"Sure I guess if you have to." Brody said.
"We will let you know if we need you guys." I said.
"Thanks we appreciate it." Jake said. He and Jake then walked away with their manager.
"Let's go!" Brody said and we walked out.
"I cant believe they just abandoned us." I said.
"Hey don't worry about it, it isn't like he could just call off the concert." Brody said.
"No I guess not" I said. We were all looking about the earthquakes.
"Levi and Jakes concert is happening right over there." Preston said .
"Whoa-ho-ho." Calvin said.
"It's about to start." Hayley said.
"Let's figure this out quickly so we can get to the show." I said.
"Look down there." Brody said.
"Those look like new monsters." I said as we watched them.

"Why would they be moving dirt?" Preston asked.
"Maybe it has something to do with the earthquakes." Sarah said.
"We have to get into that mine." Calvin said.
"Liam and I will check it out, you guys stand guard." Brody said.
"Wait is a good idea Liam going in?" Sarah asked.
"I want him with me." Brody said and they nodded. Brody and I then made our down with the others and Hayley and Calvin took the kudabots out of the way and Brody and I snuck it.
"Stay out there!" Brody said before we disappeared into the mine.
"You okay?" Brody asked.
"Yeah fine, I haven't morphed yet." I said and he nodded.
"Do you get some kind of strange feeling when you are with Levi and Jake?" Brody asked.
"I mean with Jake sure it is like he has the same personality like Jason but I think that is just a coincidence." I said and that's when we heard voices.
"Soon, I will trigger a bigger earthquake under the concert that will being the rangers a-running, then I will crush them and get those power stars." The monster said.
"They are trying to destroy the whole concert hall!" I said.
"Levi and Jake need to stop the concert!" Brody said. Brody then tried to contact them but fails as he doesn't answer.
"It is too loud." I said and he sighed.
"I can't reach Levi or Jake." Brody said.
"Rangers! You have dug yourself quite a hole." He said as we came out from behind the rocks.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah and once I crush you your power stars will be mine! Time to shake things up!" He said and the ground started to shake and rocks were falling from the walls.
"We got to get out of here!" I said and Brody nodded and we morphed before we came shooting out of the ground.
"Oh look out for the hole! Is everything okay?" Preston asked.
"Not at all! They are digging under the concert they are going to destroy everything!" I said.
"We have got to stop Levi and Jake's show." Brody said.
"Yeah!" Sarah said.
"Right!" Calvin said. We then ran towards his concert. We then ran ontot he stage as an earthquake started. Brody, Hayley and I ran on the stage to get Jake and levi.
"Come with us Mr Weston and Smith." Brody said.
"Okay yeah." Levi said as we led them off the stage.
"That monster is trying to collapse this entire building." I said.
"What?" Jake said.
"We got to make sure everyone gets out okay." Levi said. They then both morphed.
"Let's do it!" Jake said. We then started leading people out and showing them the exit. We then regrouped with the others.
"Guys! Is there anybody left?" Brody asked.
"There is no one over here." Levi said.
"All clear on this side." Calvin said.
"Good our area is empty too." I said and it started to get worse and I gripped Brody's arm. We managed to get out in time when the monsters think they have won.
"The rangers are dust." The monster said and I laughed as we blasted them.
"That's news to us." Brody said.
"You escaped? That is impossible!" He said.
"Never underestimate the speed of a ninja." Brody said.
"You crashed our concert!" Levi said.
"Now we are going to crash you." I said.
"Jake and I will take the rock headed monster." Levi said.
"Yeah you guys handle the rest!" I said. We then dealt with the basherbots while Levi and Jake handle the monster. I felt my energy draining as I had been morphed for a while now. I couldn't see Brody and I knew I was going to collapse soon. Brody must have noticed because he came towards me.
"Liam!" He said.
"Brody I don't think I am going to last much longer!" I said.
"Hold on babe." He said as he tried to make his way towards me. Once brody made sure I was safe he then went to help Levi and Jake as I leaned against a wall. I watched as Jake and Levi destroy the monster and then he grew big and Levi and Jake tried to do It themselves and then the others went in to help him. Finally the monster had been destroyed and I hadn't even realised that I had demorphed and the others then ran up to me.
"Hey Liam!" Jake said.
"You okay babe?" Brody asked.
"Yeah just feel dizzy." I said.
"Mick said it should past." Calvin said and I nodded before we headed to the school. When we went inside I was feeling a lot better and there was a lot of people there too.
"Home to many Levi Weston and Jake Smith fans. After yesterdays earthquake, the city's mayor and Levi Weston and Jake Smith themselves are expected to make big announcements any moment now we will stay live as events unfold." A tv lady said as we were walking in.
"3 months is a really long time to go without the gold and orange rangers help." Brody said.
"We make such a great time and now they are leaving." Preston said.
"But guys, it isn't like they are leaving because they want to it is because they are following their dreams it isn't like we can stop them." I said.
"Levi! Jake!" Mary said as she ran up to both of them and hugged them.
"Hey Mary!" Levi and Jake said.
"We are awfully sorry we had to stop the concert." Levi said.
"It is okay you guys were great but the power rangers were amazing! Gold and orange rangers even saved me." Mary said.
"Yeah those rangers are pretty cool right?" Levi said.
"When I grow up im gonna be a hero just like them." She said and she walked away.
"Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce Mr Levi Weston and Mr Jake Smith." The Mayor said and we all cheered as they stepped up.
"We are so glad you are all safe thanks to the power rangers." Levi said and everyone cheered as we were all smug but clapped so that we weren't suspicious.
"We recently figured out that even though music is important lots of other things are important too." Jake said.
"So, we have decided to postpone our world tour." Levi said and everyone groaned and we all looked at each shocked.
"But don't worry we love our fans and we are going to keep working on new songs for you all." Jake finished and we all cheered and clapped as he came down to us and bro hugged Brody. Jake and I hugged.
"What!" Brody said.
"We are so sorry guys we should have put being a ranger first." Levi said.
"Yeah we should have come with you to help investigate the earthquakes." Jake said.
"Our friend Mary taught us something today, Summer Cove needs the gold and orange rangers more than it needs Levi Weston and Jake Smith." Levi said.
"Yeah we are rangers now that is our top priority." Jake said.
"Boy am I glad to hear that." Calvin said.
"Oh and we have always wanted to finish high school right babe?" Levi said to Jake.
"Yeah and now we can." Jake said.
"That's great!" Hayley said.
"The power rangers weren't the only heros yesterday Victor Vicent broke every bone in his body bravely saving people." The Mayor said as Monty brought him on the platform.
"Ow." He said.
"What come on." I said but Brody hushed me.
"I herby award you the summer cove trophy for exceptional bravery." The mayor said as Monty took the trophy for Victor.
"Guys that isn't fair he didn't save anyone at all." Hayley whispered.
"My 50th trophy it was worth every broken bone ow." Victor said. Kody then got a hold of the end of his bandage and started running away and in turn that then unwrapped Victor of the bandage it then revealed that he hadn't actually broken any bones.
"You don't have any broken bones." The mayor said.
"Well I do have a broken fingernail." Victor said.
"You're a fraud." The mayor said as him and Monty fought over the trophy.
"Okay run Monty." Victor said as they both ran away with everyone laughing at him.
