Chapter 2: Forged In Steel

We arrived back at Brody's old house but it looked deserted.
"Brody I don't think anyone is here." I said.
"No Aiden has to be hiding! Come on!" He said as we then began searching for him.
"Brody!" I said.
"Where could my brother be? Aiden! Aiden!" Brody said.
"My sensors detect no signs of life." Redbot said.
"He's got to be here I'm telling you he wouldn't leave!" Brody said as he sat on the floor and put his head in his knees.
"It's been 10 years Aiden could be anywhere by now." Redbot said. I then kneeled down beside him.
"Hey come on, just because Aiden isn't here doesn't mean he isn't out there," I said grabbing his hand.
"But why would he leave?" He asked.
"Maybe to hide? Listen if Aiden has learnt anything from your dad like we have then I'm sure he is okay and one day we will find him." I said.
"What if we don't?" He asked.
"We will. Brody I love you so much and I hate seeing you like this but I can promise you that we will find him, even if that means making posters and sending out posts on social media we'll do everything, Aiden left to protect himself and that's okay, but I know that wherever he is, he's just fine." I said and I hugged him and we kissed.
"You're right." He said.
"Uh guys hate to break up the moment but Galavanax could be here at any time we really need to find that Ninja Steel." Preston said.
"You're right I think I know where Aiden would have put it." Brody said as he grabbed on to my hand that I held out for him.
"That's the Brody I know." I said.
"I bet it is in my dads workshop this way." Brody said.
"Let's go." Sarah said as we all followed him to his dads workshop. When we got there he grabbed a shovel and began digging. I knew exactly what he was thinking. Aiden and I got on very well as kids. Come to think of it, I think I remember Aiden having a boyfriend as well I think his name was James or was it Jason?
"My dad buried this box as part of our ninja training, we had to find it blindfolded." Brody said.
"Woah." Preston said.
"That's his dads truck!" I said.
"Oh." Preston said.
"So this is where your dad trained you and Aiden?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah, and this one and Jason." Brody said.
"That was his name!" I said and Brody looked at me confused.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"Okay. You know people said that my dad was the greatest ninja that ever lived we wanted to grow up to be just like him, so did Jason and Liam." Brody said.
"Then how did your dad find the ninja steel?" Preston asked.
"Thanks Redbot." Brody said as he silently offered to carry on.
"No problem Brody." Redbot said as he began digging.
"One day the prism fell like a meteorite right into our backyard." Brody said.
"It was encased in Ninja Steel, his dad chopped off all the steel and discovered the prism underneath." I said.
"He was melting the Ninja steel and forging it into special throwing stars when Galvanax showed up. My dad destroyed the nexus star and disappeared that was the last day I saw him or my brother." Brody said.
"Or Jason." I said.
"I'm sorry Brody." Preston said and I put my hand on his shoulder.
"What about you?" Sarah asked.
"What? I asked.
"Well I mean you said that Galavanax destroyed your parents how?" Preston asked.
"Oh well I was only a baby when this happened so I don't really remember then I just know what Brody's dad told me." I said.
"Which was?" Sarah asked.
"When I was kid, he told me that he wasn't my real dad, he said that my real parents died in a car accident and that he was asked to look after me. When we got kidnapped by galavanax he told me the truth, he said that they were in his way, the nexus prism came to us first, my dad disappeared just like Brody's did and I have no idea where he is." I said.
"Wow that's a lot." Sarah said.
"Yeah Jason and Aiden they were like brothers to me, Jason especially as Aiden was dating him." I said.
"Wow, they sound like great people." Preston said.
"They are, and I know we will find them." Brody said.
"Yeah I agree!" I said. There was a short silence until we heard a metal thud and Redbot gasped.
"Oh my motherboard, I found something!" Redbot said.
"That's it! I knew it was here!" Brody said.
"Quick give us a hand." I said as we all dug into the mud to get the box that was hidden underneath. We then opened it and it was empty.
"Empty! Where is the Ninja Steel?" Brody asked.
"Where else would your brother and Jason have put it?" Redbot asked.
"Wait, what's this?" Sarah asked as she grabbed a picture. She gave it to Brody and it was a picture of me, Brody, Aiden and Jason.
"I remember this!" I said.
"Yeah dad was so proud of that trophy, this must be a clue from Jason and Aiden!" Brody said.
"Hold on let me see that." Sarah said as she stood up taking the picture from Brody.
"What is it?" I asked.
"This trophy looks so familiar, Brody what is your dads name?" Sarah asked.
"Dane Romero." Brody said.
"It's in the school trophy cabinet, I saw it this morning!" Sarah said.
"That's it!" Brody said.
"Aiden and Jason must have hidden the ninja steel inside the trophy." I said.
"Warning." Redbot said as he grabbed something and turned to us.
"What is it Redbot?" Brody asked.
"It's a buzcam." He said as he opened his hand.
"Oh no." I said as Brody dropped it on the floor and smashed it.
"This isn't good." Brody said.
"Galavanax knows where the ninja steel is." I said. Brody data comm then beeped.
"It's Mick!" Brody said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Brody! Liam!" Mick said.
"Mick!" I said.
"Are you okay?" Mick asked.
"We're fine but we're in trouble." Brody said.
"We know where the ninja steel is but so does Galavanax." I said.
"And we need to get to the high school." Brody said.
"Alright we're on our way... wait I'm at the high school!" Mick said.
"What? That's great." Brody said.
"Yeah." Mick said.
"The Ninja Steel is in my dads trophy." Brody said.
"It's front and centre in the school trophy cabinet look for the name Dane Romero." Sarah said.
"Grab it and we will come meet you." Brody said.
"See you soon." Mick said. We then ran out of the workshop towards the school. Brody grabbed my hand and we held hands as we ran together.

We arrived at the school. We then went to where they all were. We were there when we saw 2 people grab the power stars.
"You pulled out the ninja power stars well do you know what that means?" Mick asked.
"No." The girl said.
"I know." Brody said.
"Brody! Liam!" Mick said.
"It means your power rangers." I said.
"Just like us." Sarah said.
"Power what?" The girl said.
"Preston? What are you doing here?" The boy asked.
"Calvin and Hayley?" Preston said.
"Hi I'm Sarah I'm from out of town." Sarah said.
"I'm Brody." Brody said.
"And I'm Liam." I said.
"From out of space?" We both said/questioned.
"I'm redbot." Rebot said.
"And I'm Ripperrat and I am going to make you all pay from stealing from champion Galavanax." He said.
"Just follow our lead." Brody said to Calvin.
"Why what's going to happen?" He asked.
"Even if they tell you won't believe it." Preston said
"It's morphing time, lock your stars in." Brody said and we all did that, Hayley and Calvin taking a little longer than the rest of us.
"Ninja spin." We all said. We then all morphed.
"You're right Preston I don't believe it. It's like I'm on Nitro power." Calvin said.
"What just happened to us? This feels wild!" Hayley said. We all then started fighting him. We then defeated him.
"Yes Brody!" I said.
"Nice move Brody!" Calvin said.
"Yeah impressive!" Hayley said and then we turned round and saw him get bigger and I felt myself get lightheaded.
"He is being gigantified." Brody said.
"Thought you had seen the last of me huh?" He said.
"Oh it's massive!" Preston said.
"His weapons are jammed." Calvin said. The prism then came back.
"Wow the prism!" Brody said. Mick and Redbot came over.
"It's showing a vision." I said.
"What are those things?" Sarah asked.
"If the legends are true, those are your zords." Mick said.
"Zords?" Brody said. Mick then threw the throwing starts from the trophy into the prism. I then felt myself get lightheaded and I fell into Brody and I demorphed.
"Liam!" Brody said as he caught me.
"Liam hey can you hear me?" Mick asked.
"Yeah I feel dizzy." I mumbled.
"Hey you're okay." Brody said.
"You're about to meet your zords." Mick said.
"We can't leave him!" Sarah said.
"Redbot and I will look after him now go!" Mick said and Brody was reluctant.
"Brody you got to go, lead the team." I said as I felt myself getting sweaty.
"I love you." He whispered.~
"I love you too." I said as he went to lead the others. Soon they destroyed him and Brody demorphed and came running towards me. I now felt loads better.
"Liam!" Brody said.
"I'm fine Brody." I said.
"Are you okay? I was so worried." He said and pulled me into a hug.
"It's okay I just got dizzy." I said.
"Think it's something I need to examine." Mick said and I nodded.

Back at the school:
We were at the school.
"Park the prism over here Redbot." Brody said.
"That's the last of it." I said.
"We have got to find a place to hide this stuff before school starts tomorrow morning." Sarah said as Calvin and Hayley appeared.
"Guys. It's perfect let's use the paint booth as our hideout." Calvin said.
"That's great! But what happens when people want to you know paint?" Preston asked.
"They can't the spray system broke today it's officially out of order." Hayley said putting a sign on the door.
"Yeah and Principal Hastings made Mick our new Shop teacher so no one is going to question a thing it's genius." Calvin said.
"Looks like we finally get to go to high school." Brody said.
"Yeah!" Everyone said and laughed.
"You said it babe." I said.
"Hey we need to say thanks for saving us today we only wanted to hide the prism and find my brother and Jason at least I got half of that done." Brody said.
"Yeah but anyways we're sorry getting you all involved that was an accident." I said.
"I don't think it was an accident for years I have heard legends of the ninja nexus prism that it holds great mystery, fantastic power I would say that it knew that Galvanax was a threat to the universe and it chose the 6 of you to be power rangers." Mick said.
"So it's our job to save the Earth?" Calvin asked.
"I guess so." Brody said.
"Well great!" Calvin said.
"Then let's get to work." Hayley said.
"Okey dokey if that is our secret base we're going to need secret entrances." Mick said and everyone cheered and began helping.

Later on:
Brody and I decided that we would live in his old house. I was currently sitting in the living room. Brody then walked in.
"Hey babe." He said.
"Hey!" I said.
"Mick just said that he wants us to go in early tomorrow so that he can find out why you felt dizzy today." Brody said.
"Oh yeah." I said.
"Babe?" Brody said.
"I'm not sure I want to know Brody." I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because knowing makes it worse! What if I can't fight at all? Or I'm only limited to one fight a day or I can't push myself too hard?" I asked.
"If it is any of those things we will deal with it together and as team." He said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes babe, it doesn't matter if you can't fight two battles in one day okay? I still love you and I always will hey we've been going to strong for 7 years right?" Brody said and I smiled.
"Yeah." I said.
"There you go then." He said and we kissed.
