Harry woke up to the sounds of a wailing baby.
He sighed and turned over to face Ginny, noticing that she was also awake.
"I got it." Harry said, getting out of bed.
"Thanks." mumbled Ginny sleepily.
Harry bent down to his Ginny's forehead then put his classes on and grabbed his wand before walking to the kitchen. Harry checked his watch, 4:00, That's more sleep then usual. He thought.
Harry grabbed a bottle of milk and warmed it with his wand before walking back upstairs to the nursery.
Harry walked up to Albus' cot and picked him up, cuddling him close to Harry's body. Albus immediately quieted down at the warmth radiating off Harry but still whimpered for food.
Harry took the bottle and put it to Albus' lips.
When Albus' finished, Harry sat down the bottle and moved the baby to his shoulder, patting his back lightly.
After several burps, Harry shifted Albus' weight so that he was cradled in both his arms again, rocking back in forth until Albus fell back asleep.
Harry yawned tiredly as he watched his son sleep peacefully.
After several minutes Harry put Albus back in his cot, closed the door halfway, and started going back upstairs to his room. Might as well start getting ready for work.
Harry stepped inside his room and headed straight for the bathroom. There, he took a shower, brushed his teeth, and splashed his face with cold water, in hopes that it would help him wake up.
Harry got dressed in some simple khaki pants and a gray button up shirt.
"Are you going to work?" asked Ginny who was staring at Harry with narrowed eyes.
"Yeah," He replied, kissing her goodbye.
"Love you." Harry said to Ginny, making his way to the door.
"Love you too." Said Ginny back. Harry smiled before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
Harry walked to the coat stand by the door and grabbed his usual black cloak, pulling his arms through the sleeves.
"Where are you going?" Asked a voice from the kitchen.
Harry whipped his head around and pulled his wand out so fast that he hand to put a hand on the wall to steady him.
"Oh, Aunt Petunia.. scared be for a sec...." Harry said lowering his wand and breathing heavily.
"I'm going to work. What are you doing down here at this time?" Harry asked.
Petunia dodged the question and instead asked, "Do you have tea?"
Harry didn't question the fact that Petunia didn't answer his question, "Yea, the tea and cups are in that cupboard." Harry said while he gestured to a cupboard above the sink.
"Thank you."
"No problem.."
Petunia was acting weird but Harry didn't have time to question that. He needed to get to work.
Harry quickly stuffed his wand in his pocket and grabbed the handle and started to open it before he heard an,
"Oh and Harry?" Petunia asked again causing Harry to turn around and sigh exasperatingly.
"Yes?" He said. Harry really needed to get to the ministry if he wanted to work out before work.
"Thank you. For everything. I know it's hard to have a guest living at your house with two young children." She said genuinely , look at her hands. Harry froze. He had not been expecting that. Since when did Petunia say thank you, and meant it?
