Hospital- Nico

Protagonists: Nico & Chloe

Context: Nico and Chloe are 16 y/o. Before Nico stopped going to school they were on the same history class. Because this is my book and my imagination, let's just pretend that Lahela and Nico's romance was never a thing, but she still exists.

POV: Chloe

-Girl were are you going? I saw you exit the school- My bestfriend Sasha said through the phone call.

-Mr. Wilsons kicked me out of his classroom. Well kind of, he asked me to bring a history book to Nico.

-What? -She laughed- I though he was joking when he told you to not come back last class.

-I know! I thought so too! but he reached to me in the hallways and told me that it was either this or detention. 

-That's crazy I mean, you're like the only person who's interested on his class.

-He said that I was too interested and made his job harder by asking him questions, because that meant he needed to know the answers- Sasha laughed harder- But he promised to exempt me in the whole class.

-Easy 100% and no class? I think I'm going to start paying attention to his class now. But wait, wasn't that Nico guy like your enemy?

-Not my enemy! We never even talked outside that class so.

-If you say so.

-I got to go girl, I'm going to get inside the hospital now - I heard a kiss sound through the phone and hanged up.

I went to the hospitals reception, I was a bit worried I mean, will they even let me in?

-Hi! I'm Chloe Woods, I came here to visit my friend Nico, I'm bringing him a book from our history class- The lady just stared at me annoyed.

-Good morning, is everything okay miss- A very young looking doctor said to the receptionist- Is there anything I can help with? -She was now looking at me.

-I'm looking for my friend Nico... he's a cancer patient, I just came here to bring a book I don't even have to stay or anything - I got a bit nervous.

-I definitely know who that is, he is my patient, I think he would love the company right now but just to let you know he's a bit grumpy today - She made a funny face.

-Sounds like him- I said laughing a bit, she made me write my name on a paper and guided me to his room.

We introduced each other while we walked, she asked me how I knew Nico so I gave her some context. She told me she was glad he got some visits, because that wasn't very frequently.

- Hey Nico... a friend came to visit!- He looked at her confused, then he made eye contact with him and was even more confused.

-Hi... I'm Chloe Woods... we had history class together... with Mr. Wilson- I said awkwardly.

-I know, but like... why are you here?

-I'll just go know... have fun!- Lahela exited the room with a silly smile.

-Mr. Wilson asked me to bring you this book, is about the ancient world history- I gave it to him and he just stared at it confused.

- And do I have to read it?- He played with the pages.

-I guess, it's not like he is going to make you an exam or anything.

-This is so random, why is he suddenly worried about my education? he never cared when I was on his class, he never cared about anyone to be fair, he barely does his job.
