POV: Ben

Mandy was talking to me about her huge plan of getting into Harvard, I personally thought she was insane, I mean I still supported her, obviously. After talking to Charles and Zenobia, Mandy kept thinking of ideas to get closer to Graham, I was trying to pay attention to her, but somebody else caught my eye, it was Amelia Lansing, she's probably the second most popular girl in the school, most will say that is because of her brother, but I know she deserves it, because she is probably the most sweet girl in this school, she is also smart and really pretty.

-Amelia! Amelia Graham!- Mandy waved at her.

-Mandy what are you doing?!

-What? We have calculus together, it's fine Ben, maybe we can get some information out of her...- Amelia was already walking towards us.

-Hi Mandy! 

-Hi! Um... I know we don't talk much, but um... we're trying to open up our friends circle, you know?

-Oh... okay then! I'm actually free right now, so... I guess we can talk- She smiled and looked at me.

-I'm Ben...- I said awkwardly.

-Plunkett, I know... we have english together, but we've never talked so I totally get if you didn't remember that.

-Of course I know! I just... I thought you wouldn't know!- I said with nervousness -How wouldn't I know?! you're like the smartest one in that class, I mean, you're a junior taking senior's classes, that's crazy!- Why am I talking like an idiot?.

-Well thank you... -She said with the softest voice I've ever heard.

-So... Amelia, we heard there's a party... are you going?- Mandy asked.

-Yeah I am, are you guys going?- I shook my head no.

-We were thinking about it... maybe if other people we like went... that's why I was wondering if you would go. You and your brother are the party royalty, right? so... is he going?

-Um... he's more of a party guy than me honestly, but yes, he is going.

-With you guys there I'm sure the party will be great! right Ben?- Thinking of a party was making me dizzy.

-Don't feel nervous Ben, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun, you can look for me and I'll introduce you to cool people- She smiled and touched my shoulder -I need to go now guys, it was really fun talking to you, see you on the party!- We said goodbye and she walked away.

-Come on Ben! you should use this opportunity to talk to her, I know you want to- Mandy was still trying to convince me to go to the party, but I still wasn't too sure.

-What do you mean "talk to her"? who are you talking about?- I said trying to act cool.

-Come on Ben, I know you've had a crush on LaToya since forever, maybe you could ask Amelia to reintroduce you to her.

-I got over my crush with LaToya a long time a go- Mandy gave me a look.

-You okay Ben?- Mandy said while I was trying to get rid of the sweat in my face.
