POV: Milo

We were currently heading towards a party, I was driving, as usual. David a friend of mine was on the passenger's seat, Stephany (David's girlfriend) and Lily, were sitting in the back.

-How are you feeling?- Steph asked Lily.

-Nervous.

-Relax is going to be fun- David added.

-It's great that you're giving it a shot- Steph encouraged her.

-Everyone there is really nice, you'll see- I said.

-Okay, yeah... I'll have fun

We arrived to the party, I parked the car as close to she house as I could. The place was full of people, loud music and lights of different colors, there were a lot of people dancing, talking and some couples were making out. It was hard between all those people but we manage to find our friends, Jenifer, Lisa, Noah and Harold.

-Hi guys!- Lisa shouted and we all greeted each other.

-I can't believe you convinced Lily to come!- Jennifer said.

-Me neither...- She tried to smile.

-See? everyone's having fun- David said and Lily looked around.

-Yeah they all are...-She took a deep breath.

-Let's go dance so you distract yourself- Steph suggested and all the girls followed her.

-What's up with her?- Harold asked.

-She's just more of an introverted I guess- David answered.

The boys and I stayed talking and messing around while the girls dance and also talked to each other, Lily seemed a bit more relaxed, it looked like she was starting to have some fun.

-Man if you don't go get you girlfriend some of those guys will- Noah said making all of our attention shift to four boys trying to talk to the girls.

-It looks like she's flirting back man...-Harold said confused.

-Ugh, she's just like that... that's her way of saying "get your ass over here because if you don't value me someone else will"...-He walked towards her and like we expected as soon as she saw him, she forgot about the other dude.

Jennifer and Lisa seemed to be more than happy with the other guy's attention while Lily just stood there awkwardly trying to keep a conversation with one of them. Steph and David were long gone, Jennifer and Lisa were already all over their new dates and the guy Lily was talking to seemed to got bored and left. Then I noticed Lily walking towards us.

-Hi again...- I made space for her to sit next to me on a couch.

-Hi...

-Bored already?- She nodded nervously.

The guys and I continued talking, Lily just stayed quiet next to me, every once in a while we would ask her something or include her in the conversation and she would shyly answer, but as the minutes were passing I could tell she was acting weird, she would look around and started fidgeting.

-Hey... are you okay?- I whispered.

-Yup...-She faked a smile.

-Are you sure? do you want me to get you something to drink?
