[TARDIS Console Room]
The Time Lords work around the console in a dance, shifting gears and pressing buttons like she'd never left. They drop out in the Orion constellation. They are planning on a short visit to the Eye for some quiet.
"Well, that was certainly... interesting," Jack comments lightly.
The Alchemist removes the pin of soaking wet navy ostrich feather from her hat.
"Poor TARDIS, she even gave us umbrellas to not get us all wet," the Time Lady bemoans.
The Doctor pins her with a faux glare, "Well, maybe if you hadn't thrown me into the pond."
"Well, maybe if you hadn't dropped the heart into the ocean," the Alchemist replies in turn.
He snarks, "Well, maybe if you hadn't offered to help me back out, you'd still be dry."
Jack pouts while Rose laughs.
"Then why are we all wet, too?" Jack asks.
"You looked thirsty," the Alchemist sarcastically says.
"Ugh, I'm going to go shower and change. I'm cold," Rose says, shivering.
"We should all do that, honestly," the Time Lady grumbles, and they head down the corridor.
[Outside Rose's Room]
"Where are you going? The Doctor's room is right at the end of the hall," Rose calls out.
The Time Lords pause in their steps, and the Alchemist grins, running towards it before he can stop her.
She opens the door and bursts out laughing.
"This? This is what you decided on? Even your name sign doesn't say 'Doctor.'" the Time Lady manages to get out.
She dashes into the room, still dripping like a rat, and starts looking around.
"What does it say, then?" Rose asks.
The Alchemist smirks from the desk, "Sad Man..." she turns back to her task, "Now, this lamp is slightly shifted compared to what it should be, so that means..."
The Alchemist picks up the lamp, and there she is, her eighth self.
The Doctor nabs the photo and pockets it quickly.
"You hid me under a lamp," she dryly points out.
He sighs, "I didn't hide you I just don't have side tables here."
"You hid me," she corrects.
"Ya kinda did, Doc," Jack adds with a grin.
Rose walks in, "Is this not your actual bedroom then?"
"Absolutely not, kid. This is Sad Man's room. We have our room down a few corridors," she explains.
Jack nods, "It is pretty... sad. I mean, grey on black and hyper-modern? No decor?"
"There's an ottoman," the Time Lord tries to defend.
They all look at said black leather ottoman bench with a frown.
The Alchemist tilts her head, starting to lift it open, but the Doctor swiftly takes a seat on it.
'Are they in there?' she asks silently, and he nods minutely.
"How bad's the bathroom, Rose?" she asks as she walks towards the only other door in the room.
"Uh, bland?" she replies.
