[Big Brother House]
The Doctor blinks awake, "What is it? What's happening?"
He tumbles out of the tiny cupboard and lands on the floor, disoriented.
"Oh, my God! I don't believe it! Why'd they put you in there? They never said you were coming," a woman with high pigtails shouts.
He rubs his head, "What happened? I was..."
"Careful now. Oh! Oh, mind yourself!" she says, "Oh, that's the transmat. It scrambles your head. I was sick for days. All right?" she smiles, "So, what's your name then, sweetheart?"
The Doctor stands up, nearly tumbling back down as he gets to his feet.
He shakes his head, "The Doctor, I think. I was, um. I don't know, what happened? How...?"
"You got chosen," she says with a grin.
"Chosen for what?" he grumbles.
"You're a housemate. You're in the house. Isn't that brilliant!?" she replies excitedly.
Over by a pink screen with an eye on it, a young man in a t-shirt is unhappy about this.
He shakes his head and throws his arms, "That's not fair. We've got eviction in five minutes! I've been here for all nine weeks, I've followed the rules, I haven't had a single warning, and then he comes swanning in."
A dark-skinned young lady in a pink shirt comes over next, and she's equally annoyed.
She glares at the Doctor, "If they keep changing the rules, I'm going to protest, I am. You watch me. I'm going to paint the walls."
Davina, over comm, calls out, "Would the Doctor please come to the Diary Room?"
[Diary room]
The Doctor enters another door with another eye on it and sits in a stuffed chair.
"You are live on channel forty-four thousand. Please do not swear," Davina warns.
The Time Lord's jaw drops, "You have got to be kidding."
[The Weakest Link]
Rose wakes up on a studio floor, blinking in confusion at the harsh lights. A dark-skinned man is bending over her.
"What happened?" she asks, confused.
"It's all right. It's the transmat. Does your head in. Get a bit of amnesia. What's your name?" he asks, unconcerned.
She shakes her head, "Rose. But where's the Doctor?"
He rolls his eyes, "Just remember: do what the Annedroid says. Don't provoke it. The Anne droid's word is law."
"What do you mean, android? Like a robot?" Rose asks.
The Floor Manager calls out, "Positions, everyone! Thank you!"
He sighs, "Come on, hurry up. Steady, steady."
The man finally helps Rose up. She's stumbling on her feet like the Doctor.
The young woman recalls, "I was traveling... with the Doctor, the Alchemist, and a man called Captain Jack. The Doctor wouldn't just leave me."
The Floor manager walks over, "That's enough chat. Positions! Final call! Good luck!"
"But I'm not supposed to be here," Rose denies.
"It says Rose on the podium. Come on," the man says in frustration.
