Torn Between

Torn between two hearts that beat,

In the tangled web of fate's deceit.

A love that pulls from either side,

In whispers soft, and tears they hide.

One path leads to familiar ground,

 Where comfort and security abound.

A steady flame that warms the soul,

But passion's fire begins to grow cold.

The other path, a daring flight,

Where sparks ignite in darkest night.

A wild allure, a risky chance,

But love's embrace in passionate dance.

Torn between what heart desires,

Amidst the sparks and smoldering fires.

One whispers safety, one whispers thrill,

A choice that tests, a heart to fill.

In sleepless nights and restless days,

The heart in turmoil, a soul that sways.

To follow reason or follow bliss,

 In every moment, something amiss.

Caught in the crossroads, torn in twain,

A struggle fought in joy and pain.

Between the past and the unknown,

In hearts laid bare, in love's cyclone.

Yet in the midst of this divide,

A truth that cannot be denied.

For in the deepest parts of soul,

A yearning burns to be made whole.

To choose a path, to take a stand,

To seize the future, hand in hand.

To follow love, wherever it may lead,

In faith and hope, to plant the seed.

Torn between what heart believes,

In shadows cast and light that grieves.

To trust the pull, to trust the call,

In love's embrace, to give it all.
