Iris is alone in her home, speaking quietly to herself as she reflects on her first night without Axel.
Iris: (Sitting on her bed, a bit wistful) Well, Iris, here you are — the first night without Axel. It's just you and the quiet hum of the house.
(Staring out the window at the moonlit night)
Iris: (Softly) It's strange, isn't it? Not having him here after all those nights of laughter and shared dreams. The bed feels a bit emptier, and the room a bit quieter.
(Taking a deep breath)
Iris: (Smiling to herself) But hey, it's not forever. He's off having his adventure, exploring the seas, and living the cruise life. I'm proud of him for chasing his dreams.
(Adjusting the pillow)
Iris: (Reflecting) This is just a little pause in our story. Distance can't erase the memories or the love we share. Tonight might be a bit lonely, but tomorrow is a new day, and who knows what it might bring.
(Looking at a picture of Axel)
Iris: (Affectionately) Goodnight, Axel. Even if you're far away, you're not gone. I'll dream of the day when we're back under the same moon, sharing stories of our time apart.
(Closing her eyes and settling into bed)
Iris: (Whispering) Until then, sleep well, my love.
It's the morning after Axel's departure. Iris wakes up alone in her home, and she begins a quiet conversation with herself.Iris: (Stretching and yawning) Good morning, world. Well, good morning, Iris. It's a new day, a fresh start without Axel by my side.
(Sitting up in bed)
Iris: (Looking around the room) The sunlight is streaming in, just like any other day. But today is different. Today is the first morning without him here.
(Smiling nostalgically)
Iris: (Speaking to a framed photo of Axel on the nightstand) Axel, you're probably sipping coffee on the deck or enjoying a sunrise over the ocean. I hope you're having an amazing time out there.
(Standing up and walking to the window)
Iris: (Staring out at the morning sky) It's just me and the coffee maker today. No sharing breakfast or trading morning stories. The quiet feels a bit louder.
(Making her way to the kitchen)
Iris: (Pouring coffee) But you know what, Iris? This is an opportunity for a solo adventure. A chance to rediscover myself, and my routines, and maybe even try something new.
(Sipping her coffee)
Iris: (Reflecting) Sure, it's a little bittersweet, but distance is just a test of how far love can travel, right? Axel is out there exploring, and I'm right here, holding down the fort.
(Walking to a cozy reading nook)
Iris: (Picking up a book) Today, I'll dive into a new story, maybe take a walk, and who knows — maybe even plan a little surprise for Axel's return.
(Smiling determinedly)
Iris: (To herself) So, here's to solo mornings, to new adventures, and to the love that knows no distance. Good morning, Iris. Let's make today something special.
