THE PREPARATIONS OF THE WEDDING HAVE BEGUN.

ALSO, SHUBMAN IS THE CAPTAIN OF THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAM ON ZIMBABWE TOUR 🥹🥹🥹

I'M SO SO SO SO PROUD OF HIM, I'M SO HAPPY I CAN'T TELL YOU GUYS. I PRAYED TO GOD EVERYDAY FOR HIM TO GET SELECTED AND HE BECAME THE CAPTAIN......LIKE I COULDN'T STOP SMILING WHEN I SAW THAT NEWS, MY HEART WENT KABOOM!

AND IT MAYBE NOT A BIG NEWS FOR MANY PEOPLE BUT IT IS HUGE FOR ME. ALL HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE!

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM PLAY!

OK NOW ENOUGH OF MY EMOTIONAL ASS, LET'S GET IN THE STORY.

Aashna's pov:

Everything is blurry, rushed and filled with enthusiasm because today, Shubman's family is over at my place to fix the wedding dates and discuss the preparations and shopping and guests and all that stuff.

I decided to wear a designer suit because...well why not?

Yeh bol na ki sasural walon ke saamne point banane hai!! Why not ki amma!

My inner voice needs to calm the fuck down.*sighs*

So this is my outfit.

But right now, I need to focus on more important things, like matching our kundalis

But right now, I need to focus on more important things, like matching our kundalis.

This is very stressful, in order to get married, your kundalis should match and that's exactly what the bald pandit ji is doing in front of us.

I need this fearful pit in my belly to calm down. I hope everything goes well. I feel Shubman's hand rub on my bouncing knee to calm me down.

I looked at him with stress lines and he ran a hand through my hair while the pandit ji looked focused on his laptop.

Ab kucch bata bhi de buddhe! Tension de rha hai!

(A/n: Sorry guys, ik it's bad to disrespect people like that)

He looks up at us with a smile tugging at his lips, "Bohot bohot badhayi ho aap dono ko! Aapke 36 mai se 35 gun mil rahe hai! Iska matlab yeh hai ki aap dono ka vivahit jeevan phalibhut aur sukhi rahega!" He said.

Bhala ho in pandit ji ka!

I smiled when I heard him telling our parents this and everyone started congratulating us and each other.

Apparently, Shubman's mom also looks happy with this....maybe she had accepted?

Shubman locked his fingers in mine and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze, I looked up at him and leant upwards but stopped when I remembered that we are with family.
