Shubman's pov:

I was waiting for Aashna to come downstairs. Everyone has already gone to the reception venue and now it's just us in the house cause we're gonna enter the latest...however at this point, I feel like we're too late.

After waiting for another 15 minutes just sitting around and passing my time till my wife gets ready, she finally decides to cascade down the stairs with a few people following her and holding her purse and her gown.

Soon the people are dismissed from duty and I finally take her hand into mine.

She looks so radiant in the sparkly dress, just like an angel.

"I guess.....i know now why I fell in love with you at first sight." I said to her.

"Accha? So that means that when I'm no longer pretty then you'll fall out of love with me?" She said keeping her hands on my shoulders.

"There's no way out jaan." I said.

"And I was thinking that....lets just stay inside, and you know, just do our business and ditch the reception." I said.

She made a face and rolled her eyes, "Let's just go before you pull anything." And pulled me out of the house.

And I just followed her like a puppy.

Speaking of puppies.....Bear had already left with di.

"Uh...shub? How are we going there?" She asked me.

"Huh? The car should've been here...." I went a bit forward and looked around but there was no car whatsoever.

"It's strange...there's no car..." I pulled out my phone and called the driver but he did not pick it up.

"What now?" Aashna asked me.

"Well.....I guess there's no car and the drivers are dismissed because it's late....and everyone has left us alone...." I said to her, making her eyes go wide.

"I'll try to call Shahneel di, maybe she can do something..." She said and called Shahneel but she wasn't picking up.

"So I have to miss my own reception now? Mai taiyaar hi kyo huyi?🥺" She said.

"We can stay at home and....yk...do better things than to attend a reception baby." I said winking at her.

She glared at me dangerously, "Shubman gill! You! Will get us at the venue right now! I don't care how!" She said.
