Hidden Desires

HEARTFELT CONFESSIONS

The days melted into weeks, and Jisoo found herself increasingly drawn to Taehyung's presence. His kindness, strength, and unwavering support had carved a special place in her heart. Yet, she hesitated to acknowledge the growing feelings within her.

One afternoon, as they finalized a crucial project presentation, Taehyung glanced at Jisoo with a warm smile. "You've been amazing, Jisoo. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in this."

Jisoo blushed, feeling a rush of warmth at his praise. "Thank you, Taehyung. It means a lot coming from you."

They sat across from each other, the air filled with unspoken words. 

Jisoo suddenly cleared her throat causing Taehyung to look up at her. Jisoo swore that he was the hottest person she ever saw. 

Taehyung noticed that she was nervous so he asked her.

"What happe-"

"I have been feeling the same way!"

Taehyung couldn't move when he heard what she said as he was still confused.

'Maybe I am just hearing things! OMG'

But after seeing Jisoo's flushed face, he could make out what he heard was correct!

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, a smile spreading across his face. "You have?"

Jisoo nodded, her cheeks flushing. "Yes. But I was afraid to admit it."

Taehyung reached across the table, gently taking her hand in his. "There's no need to be afraid, Jisoo. We can take this one step at a time."

They sat together in comfortable silence, their hands intertwined. Jisoo felt a weight lift off her shoulders as she embraced the warmth of Taehyung's presence.

Later that evening, as they walked out of the office together, Taehyung turned to Jisoo with a soft smile. "Would you like to have dinner with me tonight? Just the two of us?"

Jisoo smiled back, her heart fluttering. "I'd love to."

They walked to a nearby restaurant, the evening bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. Over dinner, they shared stories and laughter, their conversation flowing effortlessly.

As they finished their meal, Taehyung looked at Jisoo with affection in his eyes. "Jisoo, I'm so glad we found each other."

Jisoo nodded, her heart full. "Me too, Taehyung. I look forward to what the future holds for us."

They left the restaurant hand in hand, their hearts entwined in the promise of new beginnings.
