CONFLICTING EMOTIONS

Over the weekend, Jisoo couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung's confession. She liked him as a person and respected him as a boss, but she had never considered the possibility of a romantic relationship with him. It was all so sudden.

When Monday morning came, Jisoo decided to focus on her work and not let her personal feelings interfere. She arrived at the office early, determined to keep things professional.

Taehyung, on the other hand, was nervous about seeing Jisoo. He knew she needed time, but he couldn't help wondering what she was thinking. He wanted to respect her space and not push her.

As the day went on, Jisoo and Taehyung worked together as usual. There was a slight tension between them, but they both tried to act normal. During their lunch break, Taehyung decided to check on Jisoo.

"Hey Jisoo, how are you holding up?" he asked gently.

Jisoo looked up from her lunch. "I'm okay, sir. Just trying to keep up with everything."

Taehyung nodded. "I understand. If you need any help, let me know."

"Thank you, sir. I appreciate it," Jisoo replied with a small smile.

Later that afternoon, a crisis emerged. One of their biggest clients was unhappy with a project's progress and threatened to pull out. Taehyung and Jisoo had to act quickly to resolve the situation. They worked late into the evening, putting their heads together to find a solution.

As they worked, Taehyung couldn't help but admire Jisoo's dedication and problem-solving skills. She was calm under pressure and always had great ideas. He realized that his feelings for her were not just based on her looks or kindness, but also on her competence and intelligence.

Jisoo, focused on the task at hand, didn't have much time to dwell on her feelings. But she couldn't ignore the fact that working closely with Taehyung felt natural and even enjoyable.

By the time they resolved the crisis, it was past 10 PM. They were both exhausted but relieved.

"Great job, Jisoo. We couldn't have done this without you," Taehyung said, genuinely grateful.

"Thank you, sir. It was a team effort," Jisoo replied, her tired eyes sparkling with accomplishment.

As they walked out of the office, Taehyung decided to take a step back. He didn't want to pressure Jisoo into making a decision about their relationship too quickly.

"Jisoo, about what I said the other night," Taehyung began cautiously. "I want you to know that there's no rush. I respect your feelings and your need for time."

Jisoo nodded, appreciating his understanding. "Thank you, sir. I just need to sort out my thoughts."
