While Lyria hadn't been nervous earlier she was now worried especially about her sister going missing. Azura seeing her distress comforted her. "I'm sure Theo and Siphon will be back soon as they likely had their reasons to go missing for a bit and I'm sure Doriane and Daryll are just pranking us. Besides, no one would dare take us away with someone so strong as Jiggs." Azura explained, causing Lyria to smile a little. When they reached the ground floor Lyria changed the keys round. They were about to go back upstairs when Flint ran to them completely out of breath.

"He's gone! Jiggs is gone! I was just turning a lock and then I hear him struggling against something. I look behind me and my phone dies so I run for my life!" He panted. Lyria gripped onto Azura's arm for dear life. "Alright alright calm down. Let's check where Flint just was." She said calmly. "No!" Both Flint and Lyria cried. "Ok ok then we'll go up to the others and we'll all stick together. No one will get us in a big group." Azura explained and the other two agreed but before they went upstairs they took all the keys with them so they could put an end to this running around.

When they came upstairs and met up with the others they discovered that Vimir had also gone missing. "That's it no more splitting up we'll stick together." Explained Patrick so the 6 of them who were left went to the nearest room and began fiddling with all the keys. Eventually one of them opened the door and they all ran in before briskly locking the door behind them. Inside stood 2 beds and a window where the storm continued to rage outside. "I don't think anyone is going to sleep." Lyria muttered. No one disagreed and so they sat down next to each other on the beds in silence.

Despite their efforts to keep awake and on guard they nevertheless found themselves falling asleep. Not long after he'd started to doze off Patrick heard noises coming from the hallway. Curiosity got the better of him as he unlocked the door and crept out. He walked down the corridor with lightning strikes lightning his way every so often. Suddenly something gripped his arm and so he left out a muffled scream as he struggled to fight back in the dark. Agatha who had been sleeping woke up hearing this. She rushed out, annoyed that Patrick had got off to be the hero only to find himself in trouble. When she got to the scene she saw nothing but an empty hallway but before she could call out to the others she found something cover her hand before she too was dragged away.

A lightning bolt struck a tree not far from the hotel and the noise and force of the ground shaking was enough to startle Azura, Flint, Lyria and Hilda. "W..w..what happened?" Stuttered Azura half awake. "Maybe it was the ghost." Whimpered Lyria clinging onto a pillow. "Where's Patrick and Agatha?" Flint said, panicking. "Ok so maybe the ghost did take them." Hilda thought doubtfully. "But ghosts don't bother opening doors." Lyria pointed out upon seeing the open door. "Then maybe the ghost took them after they went out the door. I don't know why they did but that's when it must've happened." Flint said half joking.

"But that's not how ghost stories work." Huffed Lyria. "Well maybe it's the ghost's first time they've haunted someone since the hotel closed." Taunted Flint. "Lyria's right ghosts don't open doors and for another matter why haven't we seen any strange phenomena like objects moving or blood appearing on the walls." Azura argued. "Now look I'm in charge right now and something is definitely up." Exclaimed Hilda putting an end to the squabbling. "I suggest we search the rooms to find out what's really going on." Hilda said, taking control of the situation. Thus the 4 of them left the room they were in to begin searching all the hotel rooms since they had all the keys with them.

The first few rooms were just normal hotel rooms but when they unlocked the next one they found what was an office with the original hotel bed propped against a wall. Azura was the first inside and was about to read through the paperwork when her phone battery ran out. Hilda was the only one with a working phone and passed hers to Lyria who passed it to Azura. They were all left in the dark briefly as the phone's torch had been left off on purpose to save battery. Then it all happened at once. Hilda was grabbed from behind causing her to scream so Flint went to fight with the unknown only for him to be hit unconscious.
