Chapter 12*Asahi Kokoro

Steps can be heard in the hallways, doors opened

"Where is he?" A woman ask, the police whipped his head to her

"Ah, he is on that room, Asahi-san" the woman nodded, continue walking.

Knocking on the door before opening it, as she opens the door, she can see Tachibana Naoto, and the infamous Hanagaki Takemitchi.

"Well, hello Hanagaki-san"

"Huh?!"
Aww he is confuse, maybe Kokoro's time theory is right?

Takemitchi's POV

After Kazutora talks with me, he continued driving for a while, before stopping in an abandoned alley.
"Someone wants to meet you," he says, I nod, trying to open the car door before being stopped by Hanma.

I tense, what did he want from me?! "Hey, pass me a message to her will you?" I gulp but nodded anyway, who is that 'she' he refers to?

"Tell her that I'm sorry for not believing her, and failed to safe Matsuno" after saying that Hanma seems to avert his focus to another things, I took that as a sign that he let me to go, so I went out, but suddenly I'm being catch by... Naoto! What happened?!

I can't believe it! I'm the one that... killed Hina... Naoto seems to forgive me as he wants me to not give up. Right! I can still do something, I'm sure of it.

"This is pure conjecture, but..." Naoto is hypothesizing something, "Don't you think Kisaki had you get my sister killed on purpose?" I don't think I get what he was alking about.

"Doesn't that seem strange? Despite your repeated time-leaping, Kisaki ends up killing my sister every single time" That's... that makes sense...

"A coincidence? No, it happens too often to be a coincidence" Naoto seems fully convince about his hyphothesis now, "Kisaki is, without a doubt... obsessed with you and my sister!" Right! The hero thingy he said before he's trying to shot me!

Suddenly a knock can be heard, Naoto tense for a while, and the door opens, revealing a woman I never seen. From her clothing, she seems like an important person, I glance at Naoto, he seems more relaxed than before.

"Well, hello Hanagaki-san" She greets me, how did she knows me?!
"Huh?" I can heard the woman giggles as she closed the door behind her.

"Ah, let me introduce you to another one of our teams, beside Matsuno, Hanemiya, and Hanma," Naoto said as he makes a hand gestures to her, "She is Asahi Kokoro, my sister's friend"

The woman smile and offer me a handshakes, "Ah, I'm Hanagaki Takemitchi..."
"I know," she says, "You are a time traveler, aren't you?"

That makes me shocked, did Naoto told her? Kazutora didn't seem to know a thing tho-

"Your reaction tells that I'm right" she chuckles again, I can heard Naoto's sigh at the back
"Stop disturbing him, Asahi-chan" she giggles, "Sorry Tachibana-kun~ I can't help it. Anyway seems like you are also connected to the time travel things"

"It's actually a time-leaps Asahi-chan," Naoto seems comfortable enough with her, "Really? Do tell me more" She says with a happy glint in her eyes

"He can leap twelve-years to the past, and back to the present by shaking his hands with me," the woman make a thinking gestures, mumbling something.

"Oh, that explains the 'for twelve years' thing in Kiyomasa's underground fight!" HUH?? What did she means?!
"And also your on and off personality, Hanagaki-san"

"On and off..?" I repeated, and she nod, "Yeah, your interesting part, and the part of you that are dumb as hell, no offence"
That's really offensive, but I'm scared to say a thing, "How did you know...?"

"Let's just say that I'm one smart person," she smiles, doll-like, cold smile
"Well, what about you get back to the past now? You're gonna get sent to the detention centre and it will be more complicated there" That sounds resonable, so I nod, but before shaking Naoto's hand, I remember something, right, Hanma's message, this should be the 'her' he refers to!

"Uh, Asahi-san..?" She glance at me, "Hanma told me to pass a message to you-" I can feel the mood getting more tense. Asahi's face doesn't exactly change, but the room temperature drops hard, I can see that Naoto hold and squeze her hand, getting her mood better, at that I continue.
"He said that he is sorry for not believing you, and failed to save... Chifuyu," she hummed, and nod, then strut to the door

"Well, Hanagaki-san, a little advice, if you sees me in the past, run" after that she goes, leaving me in confusion, and after that, I get back to the past, completely determined to save Hina this time!

"Run?" Naoto chuckles, "Shut it, Nao-kun," Kokoro smiles, they are having a meal at a fine-restaurant

"Sorry, Ko-chan" Naoto said with a smile, Kokoro noticed that her partner had been slightly in a better mood after remembering several of the pasts events. He hadn't been smiling at all after his sister's death.

"Well let's just hope the dumb piss hair can do the job right," She says, taking a bite of her food
"I'm sure he will save my sister" The man said, and took a bite of his pasta

"I'm sure too, but that's not what I mean, lemme rephrase that, I hope he took my advice by heart," Naoto glance at her, "I won't worry too much, Ko-chan, you are a good person"

Kokoro chuckle, averting her gaze, Naoto sigh, knowing that she will deny. He too can't believe his words, he know that the woman is trying to fix her mistakes, and for that he is proud of her.
'I hope that one day, you too can see that you are capable to be a good person, Kokoro...'

Thus another nights past, and this future too will be forgotten, forever, but it's okay, no matter which future it is, just like how Kokoro always helps him avenging his sister in every timeline, he too will took her out from the darkness in every timeline.
