Chapter 15*Habits

Kokoro's Apartment

"Thank you, Tachibana-kun," the embrassment had downed on Kokoro right now, and the both of them, in her apartment now, is sitting together, awkwardly

Mika came and put two cup of hot chocolate infront of them, and took her leave as a called from Kokoro's father came.

"Oh no," Kokoro wishper, tham drink calmly, Naoto looked weirded out but decide to not paying any attention, and drink his cup of chocolate, too.

"Young miss-" Mika came back looking a little dissapointed, and Kokoro chuckle, "Did I get into trouble?"

Mika sigh, "The master wants to speak with you..." the brunnete nod. "I will answer the call for a while, Tachibana-kun, please enjoy the drink"

"Ah, thankyou," he answers with a short nod, while Kokoro's gone, the black hair boy shifted his head left and right, sightseeing the living room of the apartment.
Then he notice several books putted in the dining table, "Everything about TimeTravel" "Is TimeTravel Real?" "That time I Traveled back in Time"

That book certainly graps his interests, since he is very interested in occult like things lately, as Kokoro came back, he quickly said, "That book, may I borrow it?"

Kokoro eyed him, then smile, "Of course, Tachibana-kun! Are you interested in TimeTravel Theory too?"

Naoto hesistate for a while before shooking his head, "I- I think it is one of the product of an occult activity," then he felt embrassed, now he will look like a nerdy. But he doesn't expect the girl to took his opinion seriously, "That sounds interesting, will you tell me more about the connection between them?"

It can be seen that the eyes of the black-haired boy litted up, and he starts telling the girl about his theory and research, the girl added with her knowledge in the TimeTravel theory, and they even make a board for putting their theories.

They stopped when Naoto decided to go home, "Thank you for today, Asahi-chan"
"Thanks to you too, Tachibana-kun! See you"

Kokoro's POV

Tachibana Naoto, the younger brother of Tachibana Hinata who Kisaki likes so much. I need to stopped interacting with the likes of them if I want to cut ties with Kisaki, but...

I'm still angry, how dare he took Shuji from me. That Tachibana seems naive, but he is smart enough... not forgot to mention, he is an acquintance to the second target, Hanagaki.

It seems like he will be usefulll...
"Mika, can you bring me book about occult?" I need to win his heart, and make Kisaki's way as difficult as possible!

"Why don't we destroy them? They took mother away!"
"That's not possible, Kokoro"
"Why not, father?"
"Your mother loves them, and emotion is a confusing things. If we do something wrong, she will be mad. You don't want that to happen right, dear?"

Third POV

Emotion is a confusing things, habit is a scary things. For Kokoro who is now not used to be alone, she keep glancing to the door way, hoping someone will opened it. She keep checking her phone, as if waiting for the group to spamming message, or wait for Kisaki to message her.

Kokoro is a busy person, but as she decide to stop for a while in interfering in the delinquent world, and as the school Christmast's Holiday had came, she get nothing left to do. Of course the brunette could visit her father, but the both of them agree that it is crossed out from the option because the anual family party will be held in the Asahi's mansion, and the girl is certainly not in the mood to deal with shitty relatives.

Emotion is a confusing thing, habit is scary. Once upon a time, it's only Kokoro, and her father, and Mika. But then Hanma came, and became a part of their family, a part of her lives. He is tolerated by her father who thinks delinquent are trashes tosociety, Mika always trust him to get Kokoro to school, Kokoro is always with him.

Emotion is confusing, one time Kokoro felt really mad, and she thought of destroying Kisaki, but now she is just melancholic, she can't bring herself to really hurt her friend (not like she will really accept it, she will forever be in a denial stage). No matter how smart she is, how good she is at manipulating people, she is only a little girl.

So she waited, waited until the emotions pass, she closes her eyes from the possibility that her friends will be criminal. It had always crossed her mind, but she doesn't really mind, teenagers are dumb in a way or another, and they like to do dumb things, Kokoro's job is too clean and fix the mistakes.

"Are they having a difficulty without me around? What if the police caught them?" And she won't br there to bribe the police this time.

Apologizing to Kisaki means that she stripped her pride down, and she didn't want that, so she once more trying to ignore that. She is on a more important thing- taking information from Naoto. She needs to know about Hanagaki, what, how, and why did he act like different person at times?

"Do you know? My sister's boyfriend dump her, and turns out it's father who asks him to do that" Naoto mentioned when they are filling more information to the board

"Really? How are they right now?" Currently, they are on Kokoro's apartment, it's Christmast, and they had a plan to spend it on making theories, so there they are.

"Heard that his boyfriend is on a fight with another gang," Kokoro halts, right, the Black Dragons, Kokonoi had informed her about that.

"Asahi-chan?" it seems that the boy noticed her stop, she shook her head, "Let's take a break for a while, Naoto-kun," she quickly get up and get out, leaving the boy.

The girl holding the urge to chat the group, Glad that you're okay! Let's move on to the other plans

She stopped, seeing the Hanagaki on his knees for his ex, trying to get back together. From all of their condition, she can deduct that Kisaki half-win and half-loses, she sigh in relief

"A- Kokoro-chan?" Naoto catch up to her, at first she is confused at the first name, before realizing she called him first in her clouded state of mind. "Sorry for leaving you alone, Tachibana-kun, shall we get back?" the boy nodded.

'Right, I no longer needed to worry about them... They don't need me anymore, it's better to uncover whatever Hanagaki's secret is, if he had that, than I need to get in touch with him... soon'
