                          JJ Maybank's POV

I come from work, and the first thing I see when I open the door is my three years old daughter running towards me, Serena.

I kneel and she throws herself in my arms, hugging me to tight with her small body.

And then my son came in, running too, as usual, both of my children taking from me, wild as my young self.

My five years old son, Nicolas wraps his tiny arms around me and Serena. A big smiles on all of our faces as we wait for Ellie to come and greet me.

She's preparing our dinner, in the kitchen. She's pregnant of our last baby, well maybe not our last. We told the same thing with Serena.

She's at the last semester, ready to end all of those contraction.

"JJ?" She calls me from the kitchen, which makes me look up and grab my children's tiny hands and walk toward the kitchen.

"Hi angel." I say as she walks toward me and hug me tightly, her belly pressing against mine.

Serena hugs Ellie's leg while Nicolas hugs mine. My wife finish to prepare the dinner and we starts to eat all together.

"So, what did you do today?" I ask both my wine and kids, knowing they stayed at home today since it's a holiday, but I had to work anyway.

"We played, a lot!" Serena said with the biggest cutest smile on her tiny face. Dimples showing as she smiles with her head tilts.

Serena is a small blond with wavy hair girl, she started to grow some cute freckles, not similar to mine.

She loves to wear her head into two ponytail, today she's wearing a small pink dress with long white socks, making her look cuter than before.

"That cool! What did you play at?" I ask her, interested in what she had fun doing today.

Her smiles get bigger once she realized my attention is on her. "With my toys!" She takes a bite of her food as I ask her another question.

"Which one, your Barbie?" I know Serena loves her Barbie's, she plays with them all the time, and talks about them all the time, it's so cute.

"Yes! The new one I got for Christmas!" I chuckle, her favorite of all time, I'll never get tired of hearing her many stories.

I nod my head at her answer before sliding my gaze at Nicolas, who was waiting patiently his turns to speak, like we raised them to.

"I practiced more, mom helped me ride a bike again, I'm still not getting better, daddy!" He exclaimed, he was also raised to be dramatic.

His mom was pregnant when she raised him, how that turns out. "Nicolas! You're gonna get better! You're not gonna be a pro at first try that for sure!"

Ellie tries to changes his mind, but he's stubborn, when his mind is set, we can't change it. "It's not the first try mom! It's the million one! Nothing change!"

I shake my head, I chuckle at his dramatic self before trying to explain to him how things works again.

"Nicolas, it's not the million tries, it's only been five days since you started. It's normal to not be a pro. When I started surf, I wasn't a pro." I try and rassure him with lies.

I see Ellie mouthing me, "that a lie" knowing I can't help but tell lies to my son if it's makes him happy.

"Yeahh, I was not good at playing Barbie at my first try." Serena tries, but Nicolas scoff and cross his arms.
