                           Ellie Standley POV

I'd always remember how I met JJ Maybank, it is one of my favorite memories.

We were at school, kids giggling, the sound in the air, running around. I was six, one of the smallest girls of my class, JJ was the tallest.

I forgot my lunch at home and my mom nor my dad could bring me my lunch because of work, they had to work a lot harder than others to make food for our family. Tears were gathering into my eyes as I look around, seeing happy, exited kids running around, smiles on their faces.

I remark this small but tall, for the little girl I was before, blond, blue eyed, boy walking toward me, his lunch in his hand. The little guy sat next to me and he smiles, showing his white teeth, his blue eyes shining through the room.

He tends me his sandwich with a small smile at the corner of his mouth. "My mommy made this, do you wanna share?"

The pretty boy was king and sweet enough to shares his lunch with someone he didn't even know, and that what made this moment perfect, his kindness.

I smiled at him, nodding eagerly, this day had been a great day for my usually unlucky self. I had gotten a good grade, which was probably gonna make my dad proud, someone talked to me and given me his lunch.

We ate together talking and learning about each other's. I learned he just started surfing, he hated reading, to my surprise of how someone so beautiful could not like reading.

I also learned fun facts about him, he learned things about me too, that I loved reading, my favorite meal was pasta and I secretly liked my mom more than my dad.

I told him about my dad preference for my brothers and he understood me. Saying sometimes he feels like his dad didn't liked him too, turn out we were both right.

Once we were done eating, we got back to class, me being early and him being late like usual. They were a lot of free seat, but he chosen the one next to mine, looking over me and smiling at me.

My fragile little girl heart had finally found something to be happy about, someone to talk to at school, or just about my problems, a friend. And now I'm thankful my dad and mom had to work that day, or I wouldn't had met him.

The best thing in the world possibly happened to me, and then I learned another thing that day, bad things can turn into good things.

One of my best memory is create from something I was about to cry for. After, we started to sit together to every class, hung out every chances we got, told each other's secrets no one knew about.

And one day we met John b, in the start I disliked him, more like despited him. For me, he was stealing my best friend.

For a while all Jj's attention had been on John B, and not me, and then came our first fight. And then the brown haired boy barely existed in his blue ocean eyes when I was around.

Yes we were always all three but at least I had gotten my best friend back. And years passed, my breast started to develop, his small body started to become muscular and tall.

We became the person we are today, I remember having a small crush on Jj when I was young, I tried to chase it away, but it didn't leave.
