The story starts with Oscar Pine and Evan Smith sparring with their weapons in the woods, the former falling to the ground.
Oscar: Ow.
Evan: Oh come on. You totally could've dodged that.
Evan offers a hand up, which Oscar quickly takes.
Oscar: I'm telling you this weapon does not fit for me.
Evan: Hmm, maybe we will get your own weapon when we get to Haven.
Oscar: Yeah you right...
As they about to leave, they both hear rustling in the bushes.
Oscar: What was that?
Evan (brings his hand to his forehead as he looks through the bushes, instead seeing a dark bear-like creature with red marks glowing, growling menacingly) Ursa!
The Ursa reveals itself from the bushes with a roar and starts to charge at the duo. Both dodge at the opposite direction while Evan pull out his Gashacon Bugvisor and the gashat.
"Dangerous Zombie! (Hard rock music)"
Evan: Grade X, Henshin!
"Buggle Up! Danger! Danger! (Genocide!) Death the crisis! Dangerous Zombie! (Zombie screech)"
Shin Genm pull out his Gashacon Sword dashing towards the Ursa and slashing the bear. Oscar couldn't believe what he witness as he saw Evan transforming into Shin Genm.
The Ursa takes a second swipe at Shin Genm and sends him flying. Shin Genm flips back on to his feet midflight and quickly summons Gashacon Magnum which he fires two shots only angers the Ursa. The Ursa charges Shin Genm, who blocks the attack with his sword and stands his ground. He then upperslash the Ursa and jumps around it and of it in order to land in front of it. As he lands in front of it, the Ursa tries to face him but Shin Genm runs at it and slides underneath it in order to fire off a barrage of six shots into it from behind.
The Ursa is unfazed, so Shin Genm decides to rush in. He slashes it twice in the head but the momentum of the second slash propels him to the left side of the Ursa with his back facing its way. The Ursa swipes him from behind but Shin Genm blocks it and slash the Ursa again.
Shin Genm propels himself in front of the Ursa's face and dodges a swipe, he propels himself underneath it to dodge another before launching himself into the air to kick the Ursa's face and dodge another set of swipes.
Shin Genm charges it again but the Ursa finally manages to land a blow on him that is strong enough to send him into several trees whilst tearing up the ground and uprooting any tree he hits directly.
Oscar: Evan!
The Ursa heard Oscar yells for the rider. It tries to attack him until...
"Taddle Critical Finish!"
