RWBY: The Dangerous Gamer

A Much Needed Talk

Around a campfire, Ruby Rose, Oscar Pines, Evan Smith, Qrow Branwen, Kuroto Dan, Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie sit on four logs positioned in a square.

Evan: So, who want to start asking first?

Qrow: I'll start. (takes a swig from his flask) What's your favorite fairy tal-

Pyrrha: They know about the Maidens Mr. Branwen. I already told them.

Qrow: Well, I guess I don't need to explain it then.

Evan: Alright, who's next?

Jaune raises his hand

Evan: Yes Jaune?

Jaune: Um... Who are these two?

Evan: Right... everyone, this is Kuroto Dan. He's... my father.

Everyone: WHAT?!

Evan: Yeah, I know, shocker.

Qrow: So, I'm guessing you also did the video games power that Evan had.

Kuroto: That's right! Not only that, I'm also... A GOD!

Ruby: God?

Evan: Oh yeah, he just calls himself one. It's rather quite sad honestly. He blurts stuff like this all the times, but it best not to pay it any mind.

Ren: How pitiful...

Kuroto: Wh-Wha-!? (sighs in sadness)

Evan: Oscar, would you mind to introduce yourself?

Oscar: Yes, Uh... Well. My name is Oscar Pine.

Evan: Wait for it...

Oscar: But you probably know me as... Professor Ozpin.

Ruby and JNPR all gasp, and look confused.

Qrow: Ozpin?

Evan: Don't believe me? Oscar, mind if you showed us your thing?

Oscar: (groans) Yeah, okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here.

Ruby and Team JNPR look at him in confusion. Oscar then lowers his head and closes his eyes. Suddenly, a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing, and he smiles. When he speaks, they all hear a familiar voice overlapping with a bunch of other voices, including Oscar's.

Oz-Oscar: It is so very good to see you again, students.

All of teen share brief looks of confusion.

Jaune: Wait, what just happened?

Ren: Professor... Ozpin?

Oz-Oscar: Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak.

Oscar: [(mentally) Just don't make us do anything embarassing...]

Oz-Oscar: I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing.

Nora: And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall!

Oz-Oscar: (chuckling) It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor. (he starts to frown) I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry.

Ruby: I mean, it's not your fault.

Oz-Oscar: It's all my fault. I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed. For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form, and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved.
